I don't think guitars were invented in 6th century. Maybe more like a lute or something but real life time span has nothing to do with Nirn anyway and we already have different lutes in-game. I rather not see a modern guitar in Tamriel myself

I don't think guitars were invented in 6th century. Maybe more like a lute or something but real life time span has nothing to do with Nirn anyway and we already have different lutes in-game. I rather not see a modern guitar in Tamriel myself
The lute was the standard till the late 1500's. what we know as the modern guitar, baroque classical guitar, was invented in the early 1600's.

Yes, this! I was coming to bring this up and also add that the esraj, which already is in ESO, wasn't invented until the 1700s.
Though, to be honest, I've never understood the argument of "It can't happen like this in ESO because that's not how it works in reality!" While what happens in the Elder Scrolls universe sometimes reflects real-world issues and evolutions, the Elder Scrolls universe is not our universe and shouldn't strictly hew to our history and rules every time.
