Why can’t we dye our hair at the dye stations?

That's what he means by a win for ZOS -- that it could make them easy money.

This argument comes up all the time... "they would sell more if they offered it for less" and yet apparently the ZOS accounting and marketing team have discovered differently. Clearly I leave it to the experts in those fields to crunch the numbers, because it's their job to make the most profit for ZOS, and if they've decided the current route will make the most money- then it must be true. We (players) don't have access to the numbers that ZOS does, and people clearly don't know how many other players are currently buying crowns and spending on appearance tokens and how many 'would' if they were cheaper.

Yet, for the original topic, I would GLADLY spend 1000 crowns for an appearance change if I could change my Altmer's hair black!!

Even the most primitive cultures had methods of dyeing their hair so this should definitely be an option.

I know I've said it a lot before, but I'd love the ability to die our hair. We have a dye system already in the game, so it's not like dyeing is a new concept in 2nd Era Tamriel.

This is why most of my characters have black hair as it goes with just about everything. One of the biggest issues with hair color is how it looks with different skins. Black seems to work with most.

I get the 1k crowns if you want to completely remake your character's appearance, I guess, but to dye hair? It's absurd. I cant imagine the sell that many of these for hair color, as I am guessing most people wont bother at that price.

Only crown stuff I buy in this category are race changes, which let you change everything.

There is already a style shop with different hairstyles, then some other hairstyles you can purchase separately. So why not a basic hair color pack and some premium colors that can be purchased individually?

I'm not a big spender in the crown store but I do purchase hairstyles, markings and outfits, and I would definitely purchase hair dyes.

I doubt we could get dyeing like the dye stations because the hairstyles aren't made with that many varied colours. But getting some haircolour cosmetic pack like the hairstyles, markings etc should be a lot more possible and nice.
