125% Crit Dmg DEALT or DEALT AND RECIEVED?!

If you have a 125% crit dmg, and a person introduces Elemental Cat to the fight - do you do your 125% Crit dmg + 15% bonus? or is this Cap hard on both Crit Dmg Done & Recieved?

    In your example, the EC will do nothing because it counts toward the cap.

    A better question is whether or not Critical Resistance in PvP counts against the cap. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has publicly answered that question (though I'm sure that some already know the answer).

    Not this again. Another streamer announcing things on a stream watched by a tiny part of the playerbase and devs forwarding information to him instead of either posting here directly or letting the community managers know. It's getting tiresome lately.

    I mean.. he is a player rep, who works with ZOS. I keep forgetting to follow his vids.

    There are many problems with streams as communication outlets. The stream team has many members, some of them will broadcast at the same time and people can't conceivably watch all of them just in case that some important info from the devs is mentioned in one of them. Said streams often go on for many hours and in the end we don't get timestamps for various highlights. People can create clips, sure, but they are rarely posted outside of the circle of regular viewers, especially in the era of discord cliques. There is no search engine that could find such clips or provide timestamps for full length videos either.

    For one moment, imagine that you're a developer who wants to answer a question asked in multiple PTS forum threads and probably over on reddit, twitter and various twitch chats. Why would you pass the answer to one streamer, watched by a couple hundred people, and hope that the word quickly spreads across all platforms? Again, couple hundred concurrent viewers. A similar population is actively posting in this subforum and there's always more readers. The patch notes alone have 39k views right as I'm posting.

    I would really appreciate if some of the more important questions could be answered through more centralized channels. When it concerns major bugs or changes to core game mechanics, I think these do deserve some well-placed attention.
