In general nice changes for the magicka dk in general, but some changes totally kills sustains on stamina dragonknight

loosing 25% stamina cost reduction on poison abilities hurts like hell

venonymous claw on pts now cost me 2272, vs live 1641
noxious breath on pots 2685 vs live 1939

ouch!!!!!!!!! please reconsider

    You earn 1,000 stamina back on poison status effect procs to make up for that, as well as the massive buff to the charged weapon trait. It's not as devastating as you are making it out to be in the long run, especially if you have these DoTs ticking on several foes.

    If you proc it on cd its equal to 4k stam recovery. I think 0.5 sec cd is fine.

    Yes, half a second on something RNG based that doesn't typically proc multiple times a second to begin with.

    i tested with charged weapons and poisoned status effect is too irrialable...
    loosing that 25% cost reduction is too much for 10-12% increase gain in recovery with combustion

    Damage is much better than sustain, I daresay you are on the much more niche side wishing to change it back.

    I haven't tested sustain on live but magDK sustain has always been trash so I imagine you are feeling that now. Slot whip and your sustain will be fine

    stamdk is fine - slot molten whip on both bars and do the following:

    Backbar weapon dot > three ardent flame dots > 8x stamina spammable > 1x molten whip > repeat.

    You get a full 10s each rotation of fully stacked seething fury, you get to hit the fully charge whip once every rotation just before it runs out, and because your 1 whip and 1 FOO are both magicka, your sustain is fine.

    when i start including whip in the rotation it was doing better and charged weapons

    You don't spam 14 dec duration DoTs anyway and veno claw actually got cheaper since it now will return 1k stam. 5% poison dmg and new combustion > 25% poison cost reduction and old combustion any day

    ENOUGH TO GETTING AND COMPLAINING, this cost reduction was introduced a couple of years ago and all this time it was too cool a buff for stamdk, but now the stam dk still got combustion, restoring 1000 stamina, at the same time, for some reason, magdk did not have a 25% reduction the cost of fiery abilities and for some reason no one whined like you

    A lot of these dk changes I’m happy with some could use a little more thinking and a little more tic. Dk is by far my favorite of the classes and it would be nice to see it in a good spot again.

    Hmm....maybe if our spammable did poison damage and efflicted that effect we could sustain better.

    ENOUGH TO GETTING AND COMPLAINING, this cost reduction was introduced a couple of years ago and all this time it was too cool a buff for stamdk, but now the stam dk still got combustion, restoring 1000 stamina, at the same time, for some reason, magdk did not have a 25% reduction the cost of fiery abilities and for some reason no one whined like you

    Because running, dodging and Bash cost stamina not mag. And not only does blocking also cost stamina, but it completely halts recovery. So if you share skill cost with defensive abilities of course you need them to be cheap, this is literally consistent accross all classes.

    Not sure what your rotation is that you are running out of stam so quick my DK bow/bow is an orc and had no issues. Still worst damage of any bow build but no issues with sustain. Lethal Arrow applies poison dot every hit and with Poison Injection alone if you don't have 98% poison uptime something is wrong. Add in Acid Spray (most damaging AoE spammable in the game) and an occasional Noxious Breath and sustain should be near impossible to outrun.

    Still working on it not being worst damage bow build but haven't quite got it yet.

    Yeah I mean I hope the combustion buff will help to counter the world on ruin nerf but losing 25% cost reduction is massive especially since it applied to every single ability I use on that build except for volley and flames of oblivion.

    Right now combustion provides in sum with other recovery bonuses aka food, battle roar and synergies from the trial dummy 2k gain each second with charged frontbar. Stop complaining, you will have better sustain than Breton without being one
