You earn 1,000 stamina back on poison status effect procs to make up for that, as well as the massive buff to the charged weapon trait. It's not as devastating as you are making it out to be in the long run, especially if you have these DoTs ticking on several foes.

stamdk is fine - slot molten whip on both bars and do the following:
Backbar weapon dot > three ardent flame dots > 8x stamina spammable > 1x molten whip > repeat.
You get a full 10s each rotation of fully stacked seething fury, you get to hit the fully charge whip once every rotation just before it runs out, and because your 1 whip and 1 FOO are both magicka, your sustain is fine.

In general nice changes for the magicka dk in general, but some changes totally kills sustains on stamina dragonknight

ENOUGH TO GETTING AND COMPLAINING, this cost reduction was introduced a couple of years ago and all this time it was too cool a buff for stamdk, but now the stam dk still got combustion, restoring 1000 stamina, at the same time, for some reason, magdk did not have a 25% reduction the cost of fiery abilities and for some reason no one whined like you
This change really hurts my DK bow build. Why didn't they just add the 5% damage onto the poison cost reduction?

Not sure what your rotation is that you are running out of stam so quick my DK bow/bow is an orc and had no issues. Still worst damage of any bow build but no issues with sustain. Lethal Arrow applies poison dot every hit and with Poison Injection alone if you don't have 98% poison uptime something is wrong. Add in Acid Spray (most damaging AoE spammable in the game) and an occasional Noxious Breath and sustain should be near impossible to outrun.
Still working on it not being worst damage bow build but haven't quite got it yet.
