so, about those DK buffs. . .

-whip costing magicka straight up ruins it for 85% of stamina players, so there is that, noobs that dont really know how ESO works, hybrids, and non competitive stam players might get use out of it, so good for them.

-DK dots still need a plaguebreaker style of effect as they are so focused on duration that is easily cleansed, or at least trade the duration bonus of searing heat passive for further damage bonus so we can at least get a tiny bit more damage out of them before they are simply removed at no effort.

-protective scales needs its cost reduced, like cut in half

-inhale needs its cost cut in half, and the delay before exhale reduced from 2.5 seconds (yup its this long) to 1 second max.

-magma armor needs to have its effect: *limiting incoming damage to 3% of your Max Health* switched out for a health bump similar to vampire lord and bone goliath, being somewhere between 10k -30k respectively.

-stonefist needs a cost decrease or something if your going to just pretend it does not exist, i guess everyone just pretends that earthen heart only has 4 skills. . .

-obsidian shield needs a slight cost decrease or a shield strength bump, major mending was nerf'd ages ago and this skill was never updated to reflect that, its now heavily overpriced for the effects it gives, and needs to either be cheaper or have the effects improved.

    I've thought about Stonefist and it would probably make more sense if it were a two-cast skill that first did aoe in its current range but maybe with no cast time, and the second cast would push the torn up rocks to fire at nearby enemies (like 15 meter range or something) automatically. So basically a direct damage aoe on both first and second casts but with an increased range on the second cast.
    That annoying dude on PC-EU.

    That might make it more useful. As it is, it just doesn't work all that well. I've tried to use it, but aiming those three rock orbs at an enemy just makes it feel clunky to use.

    As for the "stam" whip. I got a kick out of them claiming it was a stam whip and then later in the spoilers, talking about how they wanted to make the two magicka Dragonknight whip morphs more distinct. LOL.

    However, as a hybrid DK from launch, I think I might try it out, though most of my magicka is used for buffs. But, with the new cost of Ash Cloud, it might work out ok. I always thought that Ash Cloud cost too much compared to other AOE DOTs. I wonder if they plan to change similar skills to this new cost scheme.

    Please remember that there are still classes around that have no reasonable access to purge. MagDK might not be the best zerg surfer or 1vX class, but in solo encounters they are deadly. Getting your DOTs purged sucks, but let's see how the recent buffs play out before we buff DOT damage through the roof or sth like this. No CP no proc perspective.

    Jury is still out on the new whip. Could be really strong with Bahsei. Test it before knocking it.

    Unlike vamp/necro ultimates, Magma actually helps against incoming damage that scales to your max health.

    Stonefist: if you make it much cheaper it'll just solidify it further into a tank skill. You would need to increase the damage to shift it to a damage dealer skill.
