Crit damage cap and medium armor dexterity passive

With the new crit damage cap the medium armor dexterity passive now became obsolete and largely useless, making stamina dps even less wanted in PvE groups.

I think this dexterity passive should get the same treatment as the grim focus got: "This ability and its morphs now grant 1% damage done per stack, rather than 2% Critical Damage and Healing per stack."

Why does it become useless? Because you take all other sources and decide this isnt the one you want? Why not replace any of the otehr sources with something else and keep this source?

    This is my exact thinking

Because you optimise group composition across the whole group, and when plan the group crit damage what needs for magicka characters will leave stamina characters in the group going over the cap. End result is that without making the medium armor passive useful this change will just reinforce the magicka only group meta and makes even less likely that stamina characters will be allowed in trial groups.

Yeah for trials they need a one size fits all. Unfortunately.

If anything it frees you up to use other CP stars for more base damage.

Good thing that we dont have racial, CP and mundus bonus that are character based right?

The lack of communication from ZOS to player speaks volumes.

That would be a lot better to be honest.
