Least favorites and I will put even money that EVERY SINGLE decorator and RP guild will agree:

Decoration limits are HORRIBLY low. I would legit PAY for them to be increased. Cannot decorate more than 25% of some of the larger/newer houses without hitting the measley 700 Cap.

Weapons: Seriously!?! No weapons for decorations? I mean... come on. What would be neat, is if the collected weapons could be placed as decorations too. But even normal swords, shields ..armor. Nothing!? I've seen people use the stupid meat cleavers and fishing poles because there are like a grand total of I THINK 2 total weapons that can be placed.

Favorites: Larger items. Thank you!! They Leyawiin walls and such DO help a TON!! The ability to let players FREE build more, can and WILL give so much to ESO as a platform, so please keep giving us ways to build.

Another idea: offer to sell a House as JUST the land. So take OUT or allow us to remove the structures. Heck, ya will get twice the money outta us that way and we will GLADLY pay it. Decorators and RP'ers are the ones ya make your money from. We are the ones who pay and go full ham on the extra stuff. So please, cater to us and we WILL gladly spend far more for that.

You guys need to stop acting like you care what we think/want 'cuz you obviously don't. If you did, you'd give us smaller homes that are easy to decorate like we've been asking for. You guys are aware of the furniture limit yet you keep releasing huge homes.

Thìs one took a look around the boney home.

Nice layout but oh it felt so grey and gloomy.

This one knows it is the Deadlands and hopes that someone can love this house but it just did not feel like somewhere khajiit wanted to be.

Would be very hard to make it cosy. Might make a good bandit base.

The new Deadlands door is bugged. Once placed in a home it cannot be grabbed and cannot be interacted with. there isn't even any
collision, and there is a big black gap between door and it's little bit of frame.

For some reason, certain furnishing items refuse to be placed on PTS. I can't place the Solitude Well, Covered in my Hunter's Glade, but I can place it in other houses. Not sure if it's only the well that's affected, but that's the one I noticed.

Something is up with Agony's Ascent - I purchased it, then "lost lobby connection" when I tried to leave. Now cannot log in on that character, she is stuck in the house.

Tried going in there with another character and got another "lost lobby connection" error message.

I'm assuming this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really liked the two new houses (Ossa Accentium more than Agony's Ascent tho). The view out over the dunes, the gorgeous celestial sky, so many giant skeletons out there and we have one in our courtyard? Yes please, I think I found my next new home.

The inside however could be tighter. I like the redguard style, but the rooms seem like that no matter how you decorate them, they'll always feel a little too open.

As for Agony's Ascent, I'm interested to see what someone who has the creativity needed to transform a building such as this can do with it, but that wouldn't be me right now. I did like the courtyard with the sulfur pools and the ladder to the upper level was a good touch.

Edit: Oh also, it took my character and absurdly long time to warp out of there compared to literally any of my other houses. Might want to get that looked at.

I can't get into Agony's Ascent at all. I always crash to the login menu whether I manually walk to the front door or use a warp from the crown store menu.

I use the steam version of ESO, if that makes any difference.

I was able to get into the other one, Ossa. It's nice, but I don't really need another big palace. The view was fantastic though.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I would love to be able to review Agony's Ascend, but unfortunately it kicks me to the Lobby no matter what trying to preview it, whether it be from the Crown Store screen or entering manually from the overworld.

From what I've been able to scrounge up on youtube previews of the house, it looks neat. Not my cup of tea, but it'll definitely make some evil daedric cultists happy to the same general theme as other houses like Wraithhome. The sulfer pools were an interesting but nice touch.

    Ossa Accentium
    • What are your favorite and least favorite things?

The courtyard is undeniably the best part of this house, imo. Of course I'm biased, and I have some ideas on how to make this house more to the tune of another specific Daedric realm with some furnishings and creative liberties. I love the nightly sky and just overall theme of the place. I haven't seen how the sky changes for different times of day yet though, or if it stays dark forever. Hopefully its not like another certain Shreklidor's Realm house.

Its a hard Maybe on whether its worth getting for me though.

The inside isn't bad, but its big. Once again ZoS keeps throwing absolutely mammoth houses at us that we can't possibly decorate in full, with no indication in sight if they're ever going to raise the limit caps. I don't really care for or have a purpose for the inside, but I'm also clearly going to need to use some of my valuable slots to close off unused areas, which I don't really like having to do, but tis par for the course at this point.

    • Did you encounter anything unexpected in either home?

Nothing really unexpected so far in Ossa. Not being able to look at Agony's Ascend whatsoever and being booted from the game 10 times hoping maybe its just a fluke is pretty lame though. Luckily youtube exists.

    • Do you have any other feedback or suggestions for these homes or furnishings?

Really loving the new Charred Tree furnishings and the thornpinch vines.

Some of the ferns are weird though. They look more like plastic than like plants.

The Fargrave Fountain is great. I already have a use for it in mind.

Also love the Deadlands pillars a lot, and I know someone who is going to absolutely lose it with glee at the Deadlands lightning rods. I can already see a lot of interesting and creative uses for those.

In love with the Fargrave Container Plants, but I wish we had some "empty" ones without plants to tailor our own gardens with as well.

The Fargrave Terraniums are absolutely great. I can't wait to get my hands on a bunch of them and have some cool things in mind.

Love the new levitating book furnishings. They're a little bit cheeky and I'm sure a lot of people with mage type characters are going to love them. Also going to be useful to people who like themes around Hermeus Mora to do a bit of decorating.

REALLY love the Deadlands Firepit. Its about time we got some more hot coal furnishings besides the Dunmer ones.

The Deadlands Door cannot be interacted with when placed, even to remove it from the house. You have to grab it through the housing editor or Undo.

Love the Deadlands Grate and Deadlands Portcullis. Kinda which the Portcullis could be used like a drop-gate/door though. Oh well, I guess that's what addons are for.

Also really disappointed there's no Deadlands Drawbridge. The model and animations already exist in-game. Why not just give it to us as a furnishing? BIG missed opportunity.

As usual, both houses are amazing, but the furnishing limit is too low, although I can probably make it work for Agony's Ascent. The view from the top of Agony's Ascent is very bad, but perhaps this was just the weather I was experiencing while there. (A way to change the weather at your home whenever would be really appreciated btw.)

Finally, I will not buy those homes for 100€ because that is simply asking too much. I would consider buying them for 25€ or ~3million gold however.

I crashed trying to preview Agony's Ascent as well, but I could get in after purchasing the home from the crown store. Purchased Ossa Accentium from the crown store then ported in... Cannot select a home to copy settings from and got stuck in that menu screen. Gamepad UI. Also, a bunch of "E" prompts are showing up with gamepad ui enabled....

Agony Ascent portals are super awkward with a controller. The portal activate button is focused before you step on the platform, but using it results in a "target out of range" message. But since A is ALSO jump, you have to turn the camera up far enough then "blind" jump on the platform to use the portal. Kinda like anytime you have to jump with a companion out... eg, not fun

    Hi,

I really love that the books, crystals, and the terrariums are craftable. I really hope and wish that the deadlands structural pieces are craftable as well. They are massive and amazing, and we never got large sized daedric structural pieces before with dark stone/obsidian textures. This would really help the housing community and the builds be more unique and opens new doors.

Ossa Accentium looks pretty neat. I just wish there is some more enchanted feel or lighting inside and outside the house. Feels a bit gloomy. However, I love the outside sky and the view of Fargrave. Looks very alien

Once again, please consider releasing recipe versions of the structural pieces. They really allow for a lot of creativity and design scope.

    Thank you,
    Hashi~

Oh! I missed that part in the Patch notes. Great, thank you for letting me know

I can see some unique uses for obsidian style platforms. Can dip it down and make some nice flooring. I was especially interested in them because we don't have pure dark flooring anywhere that is huge. The current daedric platforms are too small.

A combination of wooden pillars/walls + deadlands structural flooring and appropriate lighting can allow some interesting builds  And those triangular window lights are amazing as well. We get the blue ones from achievement vendors, and the red ones might be crown only it seems. Regardless, they look so sleek and modern.

As for the Fargrave themed items, I love how they look. They match really well with Redguard style homes.

Agony's Ascent: I was able to check it out yesterday morning, but didn't really checked the details because at some point the house became too overwhelming for me. There were so many buildings, all with very similar looks and I got to a point that I couldn't tell if I'd seen them all.

For me, the best feature of the house is the sulfur pools. I wish they weren't so hidden and that we'd get a smaller house (as in 400 slots) with similar pools. It would make for an amazing witch house.

Ossa Accentium: I love this house, even though the interior is too big. The yard is fantastic and the views are amazing. On a side note, the team that designed Fargrave did a spectacular job with it. The town feels alive in a way that no other town in game does.

Furnishings: I logged on the PTS, created a new char and minutes later bought Ossa (depending on which houses will come next to the crown store and when this house releases, I'll be buying it on live). I then consumed all the new furnishing plans and created them so I'd have a better idea how they looked.
I was very happy with all of them - the specimen display cases are my favorite. I was pretty satisfied with the plans we got, and then I went into town to check the furnishing vendors...And now I want ALL the furnishings I saw outside the house. Please introduce them in the game as furnishings.

    Ossa Accentium:

Been dealing with "the furnishing failed to be placed" on many items I am trying to place for decorating. It seems to be mostly with anything I just got from the crown store but also with some crafted items. This did not happen yesterday but only today (22/9).

Also had several items that I did place just randomly disappear from the house?? after I left the house and then ported back in. I looked in the retrieve function, to see if they were listed, but they simply just vanished as if I had never placed them.

Both of the houses make me salivate with house envy. I really love both of them and think the ideas people and designers are doing great work. Ossa is beautifully mystical and very similar to something I have wished for and the Agony home is gorgeously dark with awesome Dagonic weather. I love the epic feel of both homes and the awesome views, especially in the Fargrave home. The layouts are a nice mix of smaller rooms and larger areas and really well thought out for expansion and use.

I really hope this means there will be armor furnishings soon. These are not placed armor but rather non-interactable decorations; saw it right outside the entrance to Ossa Accentium and seemed too perfect not to screenshot.

As for actual house feedback, I like Ossa Accentium except for the entryway. It feels as though I am entering/leaving through the cellar as the bottom floor is much smaller than those above it, and this part has no doors to the outdoor area that I'm aware of, and the outdoor area is the best part of the house imo. In fact, when I first ported in, I was a bit upset at the thought of another entirely indoor house, like some of the older and non-notable homes were. Still, as others have said, it is too big for my taste and I'd rather more outdoor areas than large empty rooms.

I haven't had any trouble porting into Agony's Ascent, though I have less feedback about it as it isn't my style of house. As someone else said, the Sulfur Rooms are my favorite part, I loved to see a cultivated space with a different biome, and the ladder and tunnels in the back reminded me strongly of Morrowind and Oblivion level design with little secret areas and paths. Would love to see more houses with touches like this, or perhaps some interactable ladder type furnishings so we can to this type of thing ourselves more easily.

For furnishings, some of the food furnishings are beginning to feel rather redundant, as there have been plenty of other furnishings like them. That said, I'm a fan of the "Fargrave Ham" and similar ones that are funny and unique looking. I also really liked all Terraria, Gems, Levitating Books, and other things that came from decorations around the Bazaar (which is probably my favorite place in the game now, really well done on it!).

I think all of the structural furnishings look good too, though I have two requests concerning them:
    1) The "Deadlands Column, Heavy Roofed" has the roof with a new and really neat obsidian texture on top, like a couple of new walls have also. But as far as I can tell, there are no plain, non-bordered obsidian furnishings like this. I'd really like to see one added that's just a plain square with the obsidian texture on both sides, or even the the ceiling texture on one and the obsidian on the other, like the current one is now but without the column in the middle.
    2) I and many others want to place these new furnishings in Doomchar Plateau to get an idea of size/how things fit together. Would it be possible to open up Doomchar later in the PTS for this and general house testing (like how some people are having bugs with Ossa and Agony's)?

Soon I will make a piece-by-piece review of all of the furnishings, but I will post here with some of my highlighted thoughts.

    Houses
-Ossa Accentium: I actually really like this house. I think I prefer it when you load into a courtyard first though. I decorated my Alinor Townhouse a while back and gave it a lot of clutter, but most of the time I crash in that house, and I think loading into an interior is more likely to have such crashing problems since I want to clutter up my interiors.

Other than that though, I actually really like the Fargrave style, and I hope we will eventually get some structural pieces to match it. I made a post in the Housing side of forums detailing all the things in Fargrave I wanted. This home reminds me of a slightly different Thieves' Oasis. I like the interior room with the second floor balcony the most. I will say that some of the smaller rooms don't feel like bedrooms or anything that'd be sectioned off as a room though, like I'd probably have trouble placing existing doors in the doorways.

The outside is nice. I wish there may have been a bit more space in the courtyard, as the skeleton takes up a lot of room, but overall I like it. The house all feels like Redguard but stripped so that it could be made into something a bit more general, which I like, and I think was the point. I try to make houses based on irl designs so I like it when I can go outside the bounds of Tamriel.

Agony's Ascent: The sulfur pools are cool, and I like the interiors (I actually really like the Sulfur Pool Room with the ladder), but personally daedric homes aren't my cup of tea. Brownish red and yellowish green seem to clash a bit in my opinion. But I do like how tall the structures are. Strikes me as a supervillain castle. (The top screams Eye of Sauron pedestal.)

Furnishings: I really like the furnishings! I was kind of expecting nothing but dark and dreary torture Daedric stuff (not my cup of tea, as I mentioned), but we actually got a lot of pretty and enchanting stuff. My particular favorites are the terrariums, the glowy bread, the floating crystals, the windows, the sulfur pool, lightning rods, floating water, Fargrave benches, the planters, the pile of papers, floating books, and some of the structure stuff like that HUGE set of stairs, the in and out stairs, the gates and walls. I think I might make use of the really nice obsidian stone textures.

I see we had a Ceiling furnishing included, which is a revolutionary concept, but I feel like it's a bit too wobbly? I thought of using it as a floor too, though I know we got actual ones. I like the smooth textures on the underside the stairs though.

I also wish we got WAY MORE Fargrave stuff, which I'm hoping we'll get in the next DLC. It kind of came out of left field to get all this nice and pretty desert stone stuff, which I ended up wanting more than Deadlands stuff. I hope the housing team considers adding them.

Again, there are also so many unused assets in the merchant stalls of Fargrave that I reaaaally want, so I hope we will get them too... In particular the alchemy-themed stuff, but I know a lot of people were asking for musical instruments and armory pieces (besides the Armory Station), among other things. Pesonally I would love some more stacked stuff and filled stalls of these goods, as well as those shelves of those lovely glowing alchemy reagents, which I REALLY hope we can get as an Alchemy MasterCraft furnishing maybe... Pretty please... Consider giving us EVERYTHING seen in Fargrave.

I forgot to mention in my comment, but I really appreciate the addition of the Leyawiin Castle Wall without the window. I was honestly thinking that it was a shame that they added the window to both sides and with no bare side, but this gets rid of the problem entirely. Thank you!

But... I am disappointed that we still didn't get those beautiful Leyawiin wooden floors. Please consider adding them as a plan in the loot pool too, or even as a MasterCraft furnishing. I would really kill for them...

I also notice that this is a problem as of late, but it is looking like we will never get see-through windows, or at least see-through panes of glass. Currently we only have display cases, but as windows they are a bit too thick and inefficient for what we're really wanting. Please consider making some. It would be so lovely, and I'm sure everyone would freak out if we had that housing addition.
