Disabling intro video after last update

Anyone know how to disable the intro video that pops up right before the characters page? Seems that after the last update this video always shows up now....the one with Varen in it.

Thanks.

I had it play just the once. I actually cancelled out of it accidentally by using the little volume control buttons on my keyboard to turn up the volume, which ended the cinematic, so I used the "Play Cinematic" option to play it after I got the volume up to where I wanted it. It hasn't played again since then.

I wish that was the case for me...sadly after update 31 this video keeps popping up...

I cancelled it first time it played and haven't seen it since.

Check the file UserSettings.txt in your Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live folder. Make sure it is not read only. There you will find a string
    SET OpeningCinematicSeen "1"

If you have "0", that means you haven't seen the intro video.

This is very strange. In my Documents folder, that line does not exist. I have
    SET HighestChapterOpeningCinematicSeen "5"

and that is the only line that contains Cinematic.

I never had this problem before. My husband has this problem, too, and he never had it before, either. Just checked his system, and he had the same text as I do in his UserSettings file. (If it matters, he got his version of the game from Steam, and I got mine from the website).

I added that line and hooray, no more cinematic, of course. I wonder how that line got wiped on both our systems?

    Regardless, thanks for that.

Thanks..that did the trick. My usersettings.txt did not have that line...so I added it and no more video playing.
