Do you want a trial finder tool?

    Yes
    Yes they should.
And they can make it only work in one area if they like (to keep the population aspects of zones up and for tradition purposes)

    Advantages:
    - It's new and newer players will try it for the first time
    - It could cause an interest in raiding (wider general sense)
    - It's another tool for organization at our disposal (Time is life)

    Disadvantages:
    - There will always be issues in the world and if it goes bad they can remove it or change it over time

RL is such that I am unable to find a trial with my guilds that is mutually convenient. A finder would be of immense help I. doing this

While sitting around in craglorn and hopping to the capitals isn't working clearly, I don't think a raid finder would be a great idea because of how people fake-role themselves. Maybe a mercenary board system where people can post in real time their trial needs and what it is, ect, to make groups would be a good idea.

The raid lead could see the requestor's gear, level, and load out (IE: the player assigns what armory build they will use when they are in the trial). That could reduce the amount of fake-roling, and incorporate the newer armory system on a social level. While still giving power to the 'raid leader' over the group make up.

Trial finder would not work as the dungeon finder but i have read another suggestion in the forums which looks much more efficient for raid grouping.

Completely new feature can be created which allows players to post their group advertisement, and everyone around the game can access it through any zone and apply to it, but in the end group leader will invite you to their group after chatting with the applicant. It is like a recruitment section here in this forums but in game for raids.

Big fan of this group listing tool idea. Let me link the listing in chat too, so I can still be engaged in capital cities/belkarth.

Nope. 1) I don't trial, so I don't care about the feature; and 2) the forums would be filled with "omg, trial pug was terribad!" threads to match all the "omg, dungeon finder pugs are terribad!" threads.
I agree, I have never done random Dungeons or Trials. I play this game to relax and don't want to listen to people complaining about how bad I am.

I would rather see an LFG-type tool like other games have so that maybe the organizer could at least attempt to vet that the players were in the right roles, had the desired experience level, etc. before setting off.

Yes, it would make getting trial groups together easier. Everyone gets to play with new people and if you get a fake tank/healer just vote kick and if the dps is not high enough just leave and you are no worse off.

Nobody would be forced to use the finder just like people do dungeons without using the finder now.

World of Warcraft do it so ESO should be able to. It is a cut down version with lesser rewards but a great starting place for newbies or those who don’t have time or skill to run with a guild.

It is a good way to introduce the people to raids (trials).

    I voted Yes

It's a Poll so everyone should vote what they believe, I just can't understand why anyone would be against a game providing an "option" for people to group to try to complete content. It has absolutely no impact on you if you don't want to use it and you aren't forced to use it. Now if you believe there are better ways to make it happen then wouldn't you vote "Other" and explain why?

I personally don't like the card game and will never play it, but I wouldn't them to not put it in the game since I can just chose not to play it - no impact to me whatsoever.

I mean, even people who don't do any never will do group content vote No :D It wouldn't have impact on them whatsoever.
This Poll is old and will get locked but the reasons people bring up to vote No where and still are very amusing.

The main point would be you don't have to jump between Craglorn instances looking for a group

Yes I'd like 8 dd's light attacking from the back and tank with 20k health in my random queue vRG

Who would queue for a veteran trial? I think the idea behind trial finder is more for the people who want to run it on normal.
Who on earth would pug a veteran dlc trial?

While I have no use for it as I took the time to find an active guild that meets my needs, any trial group finder would be limited to normal trials for obvious reasons. It would just be a complete joke having a random group of players trying to clear most vet trials and even some normal trials.

Zenimax does have a responsibility to protect us from ourselves and this is one area players do need such protection.

That is exactly what I said in the post you quoted as Iwas responding to someone else but whatever :D
Your vote for ''no'' as something optional you would not use nor need so it would not impact your gameplay at all but would help other people is also very amusing.

Hi All, just wanted to note that we closed this at user request. They wanted to make sure this did not come back as a necro thread and just wants the thread to be used as a reference point.
