Imbued/Crystal Weapon is definitely a bit clunky. But this heavily depends on your ping and the type of weapon you use. I find it to be pretty smooth with lighting staves and bows, but unbearably sluggish with inferno staff and dual wield.
Blastbones is experimental, so it's always going to feel a bit weird.

I disagree on boneyard, it for some bizarre reason is at least 10x more awkward to use than skills like illustrious healing and winter's revenge.
My guess is the slow and awkward animation.
