ESO is stunningly beautiful

Yup, I always love taking some screen while visiting new map
I'm a bit late on this extension because I had take a long break from ESO and I'm actually just started BW.
It's not as beautiful as South Elsweyr (my favourite ) or Summerset, but it's because of the region mostly.
That said I really like it so far and it look great !







Also I'm a bit sad cuz my older PC "burned" quite litteraly and I lost all my screenshot collection that I started years ago

I think that ESO have really beautiful art style (especially in new chapters) and this is much more important than any graphic features (which are good enough and even better with last updates, so have really nice game overall).

I like that with new water and lighting shaders (and upgraded sky I believe?) even base game zones looks stunning. I must admit that changeing monitor from 1080p to 1440p makes a really great diffrence - ESO looks really good on higher resolutions (everything is so sharp, it benefits more than other games).

Just look at this Shadowfen screenshot - it looks like photoshoped promo screen, but this from actual game without any reshades:

True. Yesterday I was in WS, that I've not visited in a while, and was astounded by how much beautiful it looks.

I work in the game industry, music dept, but sometimes lend a hand to the visual team. Trust me, also the audio part and the animations are top notch. I'm never tired to look at those small animals all around.

If you're on PC you should check out the Daybreak mod. It pushes the fog way back without removing it completely, so you get proper draw distances but still have dramatic sunrises and sunsets

I love the landscapes in ESO. Using Daybreak and Reshade is a must. If you havent tried them yet you MUST. Trust me
I made a video back when Elsweyr was released. On of the few "sand" places I find beautiful.

This is not what i mean. I want to be able to reposition the camera freely around my character in a setting and not be limited by the 3rd person positioning (and the sliders). Making 1st person screenshots is cool and all (and breathtaking looking at the above images) but i would like the ability to pause emote/memento and take screenshots or reposition my character/group poses.

It has nothing to do with the quality of the screenshots but the functionality more.

It's a good thing it's pretty, because performance is seriously tanking these last few years and seems to keep getting worse.

That game really does look incredible. Like the OP said, sometimes I just stop in the middle of a quest and look around at all the detail. Looking forward to more lands to open up and explore.

No reshade at all? Some of those look much darker than anything I usually see in game.

First photo is mind blowing beautiful. Seeing the actual graphics of the dragon spewing Ice is fantastic and beautiful. You miss all that when your playing..

Gamma to the bottom is the way! Makes nights and darker areas more properly dark, and gives things more contrast without reshades.

I know BDO has one. I don't play BDO so I can't elaborate on how it is. But all they'd have to do is disable it in Cyrodiil and BGs to prevent cheating. Though I must say there is a bit of charm to a screenshot taken from a first person perspective. Almost feels like real photography.
