I would recommend dragonknight as a first hybrid. They have easy access to major sorcery and major brutality, as well as both major savagery and prophecy. Covering all your weapon/spell damage major buffs.
They also have hybrid resource management built in through the battle roar passive as well as the combustion passive.
Other good options would be sorcerer, warden, or nightblade

Love it.

For my hybrid, I just used a stamina build, complete with dark shade and incapacitating strike on the front bar for stamina and magic return on every light attack, then swap a couple other stamina skills for class magic skills, like twisting path and crippling grasp. They hit a little weaker, but you’ll never run out of stamina, and there is a lot of magic regen. The dps drop wasn’t too bad
WrathOfInnos wrote: »Warden is suddenly looking strangely good for a hybrid, especially when the armor changes go live. Stamina subterranean assault is by far the better morph, and you can combine it with strong Magicka skills like Winter’s Revenge and Mystic Orb. Add in Wall and a vMA Inferno Staff back bar, whatever weapon you prefer front bar (dual wield or ice staff seem good). I haven’t done enough testing to say anything conclusively, but it is surprisingly close to meta.

Did you split attribute points between resources?

Yep, along with tri food. Was running pelinals, stuhn, old malacath as primary sets. Going to change at least pelinals next patch.

And aside from predictability it did well for you in PVP? I was on my stamsorc last night thinking about turning it into a hybrid. And was also looking at my stamblade. Only two stam classes I play lol
You know what I want to try? Hybrid sorc bow build. Curse + crystal weapon + snipe + mages wrath!
