Connecting my ESO account to steam

Hi all,

I have pre-purchased the game when it was first announced. I played for a while. Now, I'm considering coming back to the game. Since I pre-purchased, I have certain perks to my account (being able to create any race under any faction) and I don't want to lose those perks. However, I also want to move my game to steam due to localization prices. If I buy the game again on steam, and connect my original ESO account, do I lose my perks? How does this work? Even though I don't like the idea of buying the game for a second time, I've made my peace with it, if it means I get to keep my perks.

If you decide to purchase ESO on Steam, you will not lose your game entilements as long as you've sucessfully linked your existing ESO account to Steam.
