Morag Tong and Noxious Breath

Curious about people's thoughts if we were to move Morag Tong's debuff to Noxious Breath and rework Morag tong to a new function?

From a PvE perspective, there are too few abilities that utilize poison or disease damage for this to be a big help. But I do think giving breath a unique debuff would work well, since it would force tanks to choose between engulfing or breath, making DK more valuable.

Edit: you would half to have at least DKs in the party to maintain both buffs

It’s an interesting idea, to mirror Engulfing Flames. I don’t think you’d have to change Morag though. Maybe Noxious would just give up to 10% increase to Poison damage only. Morag could stack with it (similar to how Encratis Behemoth stacks with Engulfing Flames).

StamDK does already bring nice things to a stam group (Minor Brutality and Stagger), but both of those could be run on a DK tank. Noxious Breath debuff with Weapon Damage scaling would fix that potential problem, and ensure one StamDK DPS was desirable in stamina trial groups.

With all honesty, if Morag Tong is named after the a guild of Dark elf assassins, I don't know why it doesn't buff bleed damage as well.

I think this may be actually what Morag tong needs.

Plus it brings good dps. I think stamDKs are underestimated and with tanks now being Wardens and necros etc, you don't see stagger as much which is a debuff that's probably as valuable as any other debuff set or ability (Z'en, engulfing flames).

I like the idea of bringing a debuff specific to stam. It would further push the balance towards stam if it was so.

Nice congrats, I hope I can dps like you when I grow up(and they fix the Ps5). I think that if they make stonegiant a poison ability Morg Tong would be a far bigger deal, or at least it would have been before kinras.

So here is a thought,
Why not let NB stack like Carve does during the pts. It may not have group utility, but you could get away dropping weaker dots, maybe make the rotation a bit tighter.
