    Not. Good. Enough.

If you take something out of action during a limited-time event, it is your ABSOLUTE DUTY to extend the length of the event for the amount of time it has been taken out of action, so that people do not miss out.

Exactly and instead their telling us to submit a damn ticket. Wow so its that big of a deal to them to just extent the event for a couple of days?! Sad joke

Who’s going to risk submitting a ticket when they could very well destroy your character while trying to fix the problem?

This is actually shameful. [snip] The game doesn’t work, the databases don’t work, the servers don’t work and the community forum doesn’t work. It’s just laughable.

    [edited for bashing]

What are you talking about ? Crown shop works just well and the rest is just a skin for it

Nope. Just before the shutdown I tried to buy tickets, and the crownstore was down.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can we have ETA at least?

No, cuz that would mean they actually care about their playerbase (their direct customers). They... don't.
They have a "It'll be up when it's up!" attitude.

Let's be fair though, I think the devs care quite a bit. Unfortunately, they are now controlled by big corps that are in it for the profit, and who don't know much about gaming or gamers. It is hard to please the customers when your boss's boss only cares about the ca-ching you bring in.

Then how do you explain the fact that new content is released with known unresolved bugs that were reported weeks or months earlier while on PTS?

What’s the bug? I got the personality on my accounts early on but I noticed in the past coupla days that only one fragment is still for sale. Is that it?

I only just noticed it last night when someone mentioned it-- but I bought my 3rd personality fragment shortly after the start of the event, and stopped paying attention to those fragments after that.

Did the issue start sometime before last night? Did anyone say anything about it in the forums whenever the other fragments disappeared from the Impresario?

Goodbye tickets, goodbye Alliance Banner Emblem reward. :( I was going to buy it today...

You should have thought about that before you decided to make your characters on an EU server

I play on both servers, and it seemed to me that the PC EU server was actually running a bit smoother than PC NA.

However, I was playing in the extra campaigns most of the time, and avoiding my home alliance-locked campaign because it was always locked and I didn't want to wait in a long queue just to do the dailies for the event, so I guess that means I was on the extra servers they temporarily added for the event?
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

I just did. The devs, the creators, programmers, writers and visual artists want to do the best they can, I am sure. But they are not let up to their own devices - they are managed by people who are in turn bossed by people who want to see fast bucks, no matter what.

This is not just a ZOS-problem, this is a problem in many big gaming companies owned by greater companies. Gaming means big bucks, which means that the stock market wants to invest to partake of the winnings. They do, however, want to get there with as little investment as possible, and they HATE delays. If the quality suffers, so be it, because to them gamers are just dumb consumers that will buy whatever the gaming companies give them. This has been proven wrong on occassion, but truth is, as long as we pay, the men at the top just don't give a flute. They are just as happy overworking sweatshopers in Bangladesh as programmers in the US, as long as the money keeps rollin' in. :-/

This. It does not rest in the hands of the average employee, and I do feel for those in the gaming industry, whose livelihood depends on those in control, as once customers are put off enough and stop paying, these employees lose too. Unfortunately though I see no other way then to withdraw my financial support when I feel there are unaddressed issues. We are customers. If we'd experience terrible customer service in a restaurant, long waits and what not, we'd end not visiting such a restaurant anymore. Maybe the seating is nice, maybe the food is nice too, but there are additional factors that matter.

So in the end, we as customers in the gaming industry aid in creating the problems, as we keep rewarding where we should withdraw support. We hold the powers to influence the industry's behaviour. A new pixel shiny and all is forgotten and forgiven attitude, ends with us relying on the actual good will of companies to be nice to us - instead of us demanding a higher level of customer care, before we will part with our money.

    Greetings!

We've removed some posts from this thread as they violated our rules off topic posting and advertising. We do not allow threads to be hijacked for other purposes. It is natural for a discussion to evolve, and tangential comments are usually fine. Hijacking typically involves taking a thread in a direction counter to its intent, or posting irrelevant content.

Thank you for your understanding, and please keep the Community Rules in mind when posting on the forums.

Maybe if your servers were online more often we'd have less time to post "irrelevant content". It's not uncommon for people to post random things in maintenance threads to help pass the time, but once again we're being silenced. Are you really that intimidated by Aladdin you had to remove my picture?

I sooo want to know about this August 'thing' :D
