If you could create a new battleground mode?

What would it be like?

    Dwemer Expedition. 12v12v12 each faction starts in a different part of an underground Dwemer City. Throughout the city you encounter a complex system of steam pipes that can change the layout of the map. These steam pipes are how your team gains advantages and cause problems for the other teams, by redirecting where the steam goes you can open or close doors, raise or lower bridge paths, reveal secret rooms, enable traps and arsenal like ballistae, or alert Dwemer machinations to come active.

    First team to reach the center with at least 4 members and activate the master key to the city wins.

    Deathmatch V2.

    It'd be exactly like the current deathmatch we have.

    So then there'd be twice the chance of me being able to play the game mode I actually want to and not have to play modes where people just run around the map avoiding PvP.

    Hide-and-seek + tag. From every team one is seeking/catching, three are hiding/running, or one team is seeking, two others are hiding. Add an ability to disguise yourself as an item from environment and "capture" ability. Invis, stuns, snares and speed buffs we already have, but all abilities are replaced with special abilities for this mode.

    Like... Uhm...Anyone played Windtrace in Genshin Impact? Basically that.

    something like the classic payload escort of overerwatch or teamfortress, not sure how it's work in a three way battle but it'd be each team trying to get their cart to an opposite point on the map. and the other's trying to stop them.

    I'd steal Gambit from Destiny 2. Yeah, it's a mess over there. Yes it would be a mess over here. But it's an interesting mode.

    Chaosball in reverse: The team that ends up holding the ball after the 15 minute timer runs out, loses. The ball is randomly placed on someone at the start of the BG. To pass along the ball, you need to throw it to another player(like a mudball), any receiving player has to hold the ball for atleast 10 seconds before they can throw it to someone else. This 10 second-timer can be reduced, as every player killed by the ballholding team(since that team last had the ball), reduces that timer by 1 second.
    Any kill made by the teams not holding the ball, reduces the overall 15-minute timer by 1 second. When the ballbearer is killed, the ball goes to the team that did not hold the ball and did not kill the ballbearer. So the third team.

    This would make for an awesome diverse BG. As sometimes you'd have to chase the other teams, sometimes you'd have to run away from the other teams, and sometimes you'd have to focus on killing one of the other teams or both the other teams.

    3 towers on a flat field, 1 siege at the top of each tower. Win game by destroying enemy siege. Destroyed siege respawns after a minute. Sieges cannot reach other sieges, but can reach entrances to towers and whole of field. Only cover is towers. In a 4x4x4 battle, only 1 member of a team at a time could use siege, so there would be 1 siege controller, maybe 1 defender, and 2 attackers. Or whatever battle plan works, maybe 3 attackers and 1 defender.

    Free-for-all death match of 12 players. Only one person can be champion. Just seems the obvious option for those that like pvp.

    Another one would be 6v6 crystal war. A field in the middle with various environmental traps. A crystal at the home base of the two teams. First to destroy the other team's crystal wins. Shortened respawn times and traps at the crysal to manage too.

    Something like a cross between chaosball and crazy king could be fun, the ball disappears after a while and respawns somewhere random

    It's a mess but still can have some fun with it.
    A Gambit game in ESO could be quite interesting. Each team has to kill mobs to gather a mote and once the meter is filled, we get a big boss to deal with.

    Modifiers with unique rewards. Something that occurs for one week on a monthly cycle and is also completely optional as in having a separate queue.

    Modifiers like:
    Ultimate Mayhem (Everyone gets passive Ultimate regeneration)

    Volendrung (Everyone spawns with a counterfeit Volendrung with weaker skills than the original one)

    Vicious Death (Everyone explodes when they die)

    Etc... :D

    takes place on smaller maps

    upon respawning player has "spawn protection" making them imuune to damage for 5 seconds or until they use a skill/light attack/heavy attack

    based on your potions on the match leaderboard you get a boon scaling from +1% to +10% to all stats (crit, recovery, damage, armour, max resources, pen) with 12th place getting the full +10% and 1st and 2nd place getting no boon what so ever

    winner is the first player to 20 kills OR highest score count after 15 mins

    don't care much for small scale team based pvp but a 12 player FFA deathmatch, where i can be as daft as i want to be, oh yeah, i'd jump into that in a heartbeat.

    3 teams of 4 . All start at same time, fight your way through a dungeon containing bosses and adds . You can’t complete it until every add is dead. Make it tough enough that there are bosses in there so you need healers and random traps etc

    Winner is first team to the end

    I like this. I have referred this kind of concept a PvP Trial but the name is unimportant.

    I would very much like to visit and play through your Dwemer City Expedition, but maybe after going through Cloud Ruler Temple :)
