I preorder ps5 in april to get it in november. And i get it delivered at my door 18 november. Most people know it would be problem get this at realese day.
The earliest you could pre-order a PS5 was September 16th, 2020.
Not true, I preordered mine in April too. Through Amazon.
There was no price or release date info then. I'm not arguing you didn't pre-order, but I'm really curious as to how pre-orders were with no price or release date info. I can't even find info regarding erroneously listed pre-orders for April of last year. I'm just really confused now 🤣

Sure the upgrade is free, but alot of us bought the game or an upgrade to play it on ps5 and not on ps4. So not really free...

But the ps4 backwards compatible version still works. Just be patient. They’ll get it working when they can. It’s not like you can’t play the game right now. You just cant play the FREE ps5 upgrade version.

Maybe you live in a country back in time. Lol. When you preorder from webshops they have price that is much higher but you not pay that price, they do it this way so you get it delivered after date you sendt in preorder. People preorder in june would not get it before in april, abd before april they get a new Mail say sorrrrryyyy you have to wait to a date we not know anymore but we send you a Mail when time getting close.

Nah, I was playing on my PS4 before One Tamriel. Not being able to run dungeons with other alliance members and all.

….. if your storage on the PS5 is such an issue that you had to delete the PS4 version (that still works) then you clearly have other games you could be playing instead of complaining on the forums about how your free update doesn’t work. And if you aren’t playing them and are that hungry for eso, delete a different game, install the ps4 version, and get to saving Tamriel,
Orrrrrrrr just be patient and play something else in the meantime. People out here really acting surprised that the launch didn’t go as planned. 😂 Those of us that have played long enough know that this is just part of the routine.

I wouldn't count on anything today. With no updates today doesn't look very promising for us digital owners.Aerius_Sygale wrote: »So, like...is it going to be available to digital owners of the PS4 version any time this calendar day? I'm starting to fear not, at this rate. We aren't even getting any real details of how it is coming along, if anything is being done specifically to try fix this or if it is still just a mystery what is causing it to insist on the Disc from Physical Copies only for getting it, not simply allowing any owners of the game to get it...

Or the devs could actually test things and not release them before they’re ready lol

This is not a ZOS thing, this is entirely a Sony issue. ZOS has no control how their product is purchased on the PSN store. Sony needs to rectify how it can be purchased. If you buy the base game again the PS5 version does work.

Passing the issue over to Sony is also not a valid excuse to me, FF7R PS5 version launched last week and didn’t have this problem
Oh sure lemme buy the same game twice to fix this problem, great idea
