We gotta talk about that sound when you get your daily log in reward.

Aww. I thought it was hilarious, it never occurred to me that it would bother some people. I'll be sorry for it to go because it has been making me laugh, but I of all people understand noises being a stressor. This game sets off my misophonia bigtime with all the dog barks. I'm glad it will be a relief for those of you it bothered, I know I'd sure be relieved for some of the noises I hate to go away.

Hey all, just confirming the new sound is not actually intended and will be fixed in a future patch :D

Please keep some type of more noticeable sound for a successful withdrawing of the daily login reward - I've had several days gone missing in previous months because of thinking I've successfully taken it when in fact the button pressing did nothing (possibly for some desynching or bug in the Gamepad UI) - that faint "thud" noise is not noticeable enough.

I for one thought you made this change with intention, to increase accessibility for those of us with impairments, and thought it was a really neat and clever addition to add in an additional "clue" to a successful withdrawing of the daily login reward.

Sad to see that you might plan to "fix" it by presumably getting rid of it.

Aw man, I liked it. :(

If you're going to replace it, replace it with this! :)

It's awful. It's unnecessary and it makes me want to throw something at my tv and cut off my ears.

You’d still be able to hear it if you cut your ears off. Have to jab something deep in there to actually lose your hearing.

/s - don’t try this at home kids.

That sound effect should only happen whenever you loot a "Sproing."

PS4 here and I hear two distinct sounds, which started with the update: a metallic spring "byo-yoing-CLONK" clonking sort of sound that ends with the ding sound of receiving a group invite.

Funny, I actually didn't even notice the second half of the sound, the group invite sound, until you said something. My brain just focused on the metallic spring noise. But since you mention it, I hear it now too.

Never hear it - when I login in the morning for daily rewards and to train riding on those still working on it, I don't bother to headphone.

Oh my goodness I am glad. It's not cut my ears off bad, that's a bit drastic, but it mildly irritated me every time. So, YAY!

if you give us this as a daily reward :p

Yeah, I actually thought someone had sent me a group invite as I was claiming my reward for the first time after the update, so I quickly closed the box and was confused to see nothing on the screen. LOL

Do we have any updates on this? This is a really stupid sound.

Yes. Four years from now it will be unintentionally fixed when they completely destroy something else that’ll need a fix in another four to ten years.
