Aknowledgement of the Range Bug?

    Yep! Turns out we had two bugs in our system with slightly different descriptions that were effectively the same core issue. The fix will be in the PC/Mac and Stadia incremental patch on June 14 (next Monday.)

    Hey Jessica and Gina. The range bug is still a problem. Do you know if a fix is in the works? Do you when it will be fixed?

    This is a core game mechanic issue. Please put this fix at the top of the priority list...

    The range skill pvp bug hasn’t been mentioned in patch notes so guessing it’s not being fixed then until a later date? Can we get a eta

    So 7.0.6 came and fixed Battle Spirit from what I can tell (I can now actually use some of my skills from high places) but Propelling Shield and the AvA passive that gives 5m range were not fixed! About Propelling Shield, before the patch it would show our skill range increased though nothing would change in practice. Now we still don't have the range increase from it but our skill tooltips also don't show the range increase. The AvA passive does show the range increase but does nothing in practice (tested with and without).

    @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and whomever else I should ping, this is a serious issue and we need a fix ASAP. These bugs are hindering an entire playstyle in Cyrodiil.

    Yep I'm hearing from friends that battlespirit was fixed but alliance war passives and siege shield do not work. I'll have to do my own testing tonight.

    If true this needs to be fixed ASAP, since it is a core game mechanic.

    As an aside this means both morphs of siege shield are entirely useless as of now and morphing it is a wasted skill point.

    My dragonknight is still getting lots of Target out of range issues, specially with light attacks. Previously on melee attacks and I now notice in ranged attacks, too. I don't think the issue was fixed with the patch.

    Devs are responding on so many other threads save for this one. Perhaps the issue is deep enough that they can't admit it'll take a lot of time and work to fix.

    By the way, after some more testing I think that the AvA passive does work in Cyrodiil, so at least folks can get their standard 41m range on typical 28m abilities. That being said, Propelling Shield doesn't work, and I believe the DK passive is still a bit finicky, which causes issues in PvE. I ran some trials with my magDK the other day and it was kinda weird, honestly.

    Range is fixed for me (i play a heavy attack build). The double loss of stamina, while blocking and after releasing it is still there for my dk, but just random.
