It makes you do a puking animation for like 10 seconds. A small time, but you can make up by putting it literally everywhere. In front of merchants, bankers, writ boards, quest turn ins.

It's funny to see tbagging evolve since ZOS statement on reporting that "behavior".

Now you surround the player(s), not on the player, and begin ATB - air tbag - in praise to great Malacath of course.

Push one way, another way is found.

It places an object on the ground that other people can pick up. When they pick it up, they eat it and get sick. It's just a short animation. The thing is, if place in front of a bot train, one of them can get out of sync with the train. When out of sync, they might get stuck and just stand there until the handler come back to fix it.

Yep, very useful for checking if that level 3 player trotting only an apparently predetermined path picking up nodes is a bot.

You pick up a node, then place the mystery meat. When the "player" walks up to the now replaced node and activates the meat...multiple times...it's a pretty good way for players who aren't sure if someone is a bot to ease their conscience about putting in a report.

As for pranks, does anyone remember that Anniversary Event during the Alikr Dolmen run someone was putting down a cake on top of the Dolmen chest every time? I thought it was hilarious, but people were pretty salty trying to figure out who it was.

I love that idea. Would it be possible to add something to the meat to disrupt the script of the bot? Perhaps a small speed boost or just the slightest mandatory pause when they pick it up. I'm not sure how bots work, but placing a player usable method to throw them off course would be brilliant.

There are definitely bots in this game. Usually throw away accounts so I don't think anyone is concerned when "bot account #128" out of their 300 bots gets banned. They just create a new account or possibly use one of the hacked accounts they have access to through shady means. If a site is willing to violate TOS to sell someone gold, you think they won't also attempt to hijack your account as soon as you stop buying from them?

Everything is reportable. What matters is if it's actionable. You can report someone for looking at you cross eyed. ZOS is not likely to do anything about that though. I don't know anyone that has had any action taken against their account for meat placement. I do hear quite often about players that are banned for "reasons unknown" so it's possible that this covers meat harassment as well and ZOS just doesn't want to talk about it.

For real players who presumably want to enjoy playing the game, no, bots aren't worth it.

But most bots aren't operated by real players who want to enjoy playing the game.

Consider it from the goldseller's perspective: the base game only costs about $10, so if you make enough gold to sell for more than $10, you made a profit. And ZOS isn't, ah, exactly known for its speed in dealing with bots.

Yes. ZOS is very slow to remove bots or take measures to discourage them--like how it took several years for them to address how bots were farming night and day the trios of mudcrabs that spawn on certain Grahtwood beaches which were needed to complete a quest there. Some say it's because they remove them in waves, others say it's because they drag their feet when it comes to banning the worst, because of who they are (like in IRL, some players are just more "important" than others) and at the end of the day ZOS doesn't really think it's a problem*. Even if they do get banned, most bans can be temporary or get overturned eventually, and also, it's no big deal for a lot of them to obtain access to a new account one way or another and start again. Some of them are running 3-7 bots at a time anyways.

*Unless it causes them PR problems, like the bots that infested the game at launch and people were posting videos of them on You Tube. ZOS would prefer such things don't show up where they can't take it down or edited it out--that might make them and their game look bad.

Pranks are fun to the person being pranked quite often. People even form new friendships through them. doesn't mean that it is universal. Speak for yourself.
