i'm not one to care about maintenance, but it really does feel like its for nothing because the server performance is still abysmal.
for me many times it was even worse after these maitenances
not forgetting about some addons stopping their work after maitenance and reinstalling, updating them do nothing
idk how after this maitencna but Im realistic here with ZOS and I downt something will change with LA weaving, clunky animations after an 1-2 maitenances before....skills animations along with block or ligt attacks feel like Im playing 300-500 ping while game is showing basic 90-<200 as always, dps rotation clunky for me from EU on EU server like I was playing on NA server with 400-500+ ping

Yep i experience the exact same thing with below 90 ping, it's been like this ever since they moved most of the things from the client to the server. The patch where we had to redownload the client to improve performance but instead we got much worse delay with casting skills etc with the already previous failing performance. It feels like a major step back which they should have reverted but we are still yet to see it happen.
maitenances/patches nobody asked for, yet introduced by cost of our time waiting for them and making our experience with game even worse, not even fixing a single significant problem in game but maybe "uncstucking" an spider or deer from overland world from wall or from under the pebble

So Single player games like Skyrim are ran 100% off your own computer...the maintenance you would perform there would simply to reboot your computer. But ESO is a Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game, or also known in short as an "MMORPG", or simply "MMO".
MMORPG's use some form of server, which every ESO player connects to from wherever they live. There are different server configurations MMOs utilize, but ESO uses "Megaservers" for each region. So EVERYONE that lives in NA and plays on PC connects to the exact same server, or "Megaserver". That means thousands upon thousands of connections and sessions are made to that server all day long...every day....all hours of the day and night.
That will eventually cause performance problems, much like never rebooting your personal computer for 3 months...eventually you'll notice weird behavior from Windows, like apps crashing, other programs running slow, things not closing correctly, overall slowness, etc. You reboot your machine, maybe update your drivers every so often, etc and then you're back and off to the races.
Servers require similar maintenance. They sometimes require reboots in order to restart services, or apply an update to something, etc. Often times though, maintanence is "scheduled", as part of a proactive effort to minimize downtime. You can either never reboot, wait until SERIOUS problems happen, then do something about it...OR you can reboot every week, even if there are no serious problems, to insure the server is always in a high performance state.
Problems can still happen, however it is common practice to do weekly reboots, which is what normal server maintenance entails, among other things. It's like this...do you wait until your house is really dusty and dirty to vacuum or clean it, only once every like 6 months? Or do you dust and vacuum your house every 2 weeks or so, and perform regular house maintenance (taking out the trash, wiping down counters, cleaning your toilet, etc). It's a similar thing with servers and computers in general.
This is nice and all but i have played dozens of MMOS and usually maintenance is like 1-2 hours during daytime or 3-4 hours at night. Very long regular maintenance like this is ESO's feature.

yes and no, right they are at all not wasting my entire time at this as I can do and do something else but yet they are wasting my time able to play this game at this time especailly when got ongoing paid *premium* with which I woudl want to actually play like I can play without such problems with many other games if not every other game, f2p, b2p, p2p or p2wThere is absolutely no "cost" of your time.
it was just example of "insane fixes" we are mostly have from maitenances, most fixes from ther are barely significant to anyone if even or they was discovered by mistake and then reported, by this single player, one of million who actually was going through this zone and by mistake went a bit out of his way or got bug/stuck by himself discovering this after doing specific action with this like using specific skill in that placeYou complain of significant problems yet fail to mention a single one.
Your theory of "unstucking a spider or deer from a wall" is completely false too. Do you honestly believe that sort of thing needs to be done manually? ALL types of NPC's get reset completely automatically upon maintenance, so you've obviously got no clue how maintenance even works.
Please stop stomping your feet like a spoiled 8 year old. You don't own the servers and you're not going to get it your way by making useless posts on the forums. Maintenance will keep happening whether you like it or not.
