Time limit on WW

There needs to be a cap on time that someone can stay in WW form. When someone can be in their ultimate for an hour plus it is beyond OP. Especially in a location like IC with enough NPC's around to keep the form up.

There needs to be some sort of diminishing returns on the form the longer you stay in it. There is no real down side to being in WW form. They have everything they need on the one bar. The timer needs to start counting down faster the longer you are in it.

This is just ridiculous.

How many Tel Var did you lose?

On a slightly more serious note, werewolves have no snare removal, their self heal is max health based, and their burst is blockable and dodgeable. The best thing they have going for them is a gap closer and bleed on light attacks.

I don't agree that they need a time limit, they already have one.

What time limit? They can keep resetting the timer as long as they keep fighting. In battlegrounds that is basically the whole battleground. In cyrodiil it isn't hard to stay in form for basically an hour. And, in IC that is basically forever because there is always at least NPC to chew on if they aren't in PVP.

Everything that people are complaining about in proc sets is part of the WW build. They can build tanky and then just go into WW form to get the stats they need to kill people. It isn't a big deal for the necro or vampire ultimate because it only lasts 20 seconds. How is a never ending ultimate even close to balanced? By the way only benefits stam builds. How about you make the vampire ultimate never ending and then we start calling it good.

Let's actually put in writing what people are getting basically for nothing.
    30% increase in stamina.
10% damage reduction (pact leader). Equivalent to major protection.
    Pets that can't be killed.
15% increase in stam regen while slotted.
Major brutality while slotted (Hircines bounty). Everyone else has to actually spend a global cooldown to get.
Major Savagery while slotted (Roar). Again everyone else has to spend a global cooldown to get.
Major breech, minor main, and off balance on fear CC.
Choice between major defile or another HoT.
Minor defile from disease status effect.

All of that with no time limit. That is ridiculous.

Shapeshifter's Chains: Increased the Health, Magicka, and Stamina granted from this set while transformed to 1707, up from 1206.

    Developer Comment:
Previously, this set wasn't offering much for Werewolves as the stat gain was pretty low, and the cost reduction felt much less impactful since your main goal with the Ultimate is to never leave it to begin with. Bone Goliath and Blood Scion both receive much more effectiveness out of the cost reduction, while the max stats are less relevant since they already have large stat steroids built in. By pumping up the stat boost a little more, we can help out the pack a bit without making the tyrants even more tyrannical.

WW timer is a mini-game. If you play actively are rewarded for it. It is intended.

They do have a time limit, staying in form means you have to keep attacking and if you don't devour, eventually the timer runs out, especially in BG it's not as easy as you put it to stay in WW form, don't forget you need to restack ultimate if it runs out as well. They also suffer penalties you're not mentioning.

Also, you're talking PVP, just so it's been said. In PVE the timer is pretty much fine, it's even a bit cumbersome often due to loading screens, dialogue and cutscenes.

What I can understand in PVP situations is if a couple of werewolfs team up, the timer bonus is pretty grand. But it's not something it'd like to lose in PVE either.
