Yes, DC and EP get two tiny starting zones for some reasons. Guess they wanted to represent all the races, except Bretons obviously.
That area is called Bal Foyen. Super small and I only got the skyshards and first time archeology done there and then left it in the dust :P
Less popular crafting cities are indeed better due to no lag. Marbruk is a very beautiful city I had to come back to - also because that blue fish refused to be reeled in, luckily there were plenty of lakes in or around the city.I have most of my alts parked in Marbruk and do the crafting dailies everyday, I don't find the crafting stations to be inconveniently placed. Being less populated is part of why I like it.
