Is greenshade the least populated zone in the game?

- Not a starter city, alliance capital, or a chapter zone.
- Inconvenient crafting station/stable/bank placement.
- Zero dailies and nothing worth farming
- Base game zone, few will be questing in a 2014 zone.
- Bland environment and horrible terrain
- No good sets like mother's sorrow for deshaan and briarheart for wrothgar. Sets here are basically a meme.
- non-existent roleplay community

So yeah, has to be the most dead zone in the game right?

Murkmire is popping now that nbrp gives the best xp in the game.

But yeah the lvl 20-30 and 30-40 zones are probably the least populated for each respective alliance

I saw some people running around Marbruk just the other day when I had a character do the Clockwork city prologue.

But you are right in saying there's nothing in zones like that to keep players occupancy long term.

At least Murkmire's questline toward the end is freakin gorgeous. But yeah, Greenshade is not memorable. Except for...well the main questline.

Murkmire you still see people, Hackwing Plummage is worth a pretty penny and a lead for the Wild Hunt ring drops there iirc. Greenshade I also see people farming that lead on a few world bosses there.

But yeah, I'd say Greenshade is the quietest zone in the game.

idk, I still think people visit Marbruk, and it has one of the best storylines in the game.

I'd say that Betnikh and Bal Foyen are even less quiet.

Stormhaven in Shadowfen is the 2nd most convenient city in the game for banking, crafting writs and training your mount tbh.

I used to have 8 toons parked there to do their crafting writs.

That area is called Bal Foyen. Super small and I only got the skyshards and first time archeology done there and then left it in the dust :P

RP is rare, but still happens in Greenshade.

My main RP character lives in Marbruk, mostly because Cliffshade was just the right size. That led to many fishing outings over the years nearby.
Another nice memory was the barbeque set up by a group of small elves in nearby Bramblebreach, a very peaceful place, and people weren't on the menu, thankfully. Wood elves aren't so bad if you don't squish their plants.

A wedding took place in the labyrinth, and all the guests had a hard time finding the center.

Also I came across a clinic run by a priest once in Woodhearth. No sermon, but lots of remedies.

Greenshade's not so bad. Marbruk seems to be reasonably populated-- the guild traders help, of course-- and when I was playing through the zone a few months ago on one of my characters the world bosses, delves, and public dungeon all seemed fairly busy as far as other players.

Half a second from porting to a malabal way shrine and I’m dismounted in some water or I get stuck in between a root and have to /stuck but I can’t /stuck because I’m stuck in combat with those plants I passed five minutes ago.

It was full when Beekeeper stuff was selling for 50-100K a pop for the right pieces.
