Tank with 0 block mitigation?

In theory, there are two ways. Damage shield and just big resists. But the shields are weak enough and even dragonknight is unlikely to be able to do everything. At that time, resists... I think a thing called Ironblood will kill you more than it will help. I have a mistform tank, but also not able to tank everything unless you have flawless reflexes and 0 ping.
It's like it's completely useless for pve tanks. Really, what can save this thing?

It's utterly useless for PvE tanking. Trash bin it.

There's some PvP potential there, I think. I don't follow that chatter tho.

Yes it is and will most likely always be irrelevant for PvE Tanks.

The damage mitigation you get from blocking is much stronger than this set will ever be. You also give up on your 2 Piece Monster Set effect that would provide some additional group support.

This set seems only viable for PvP builds that need some additional bulk and are not blocking too much anyways like Sorcerers that rely on their Shields to tank incoming damage or stamina builds, that mostly evade damage by dodging.

Maybe this could be interesting for PvE Solo builds or "safer" Dungeon & Trial No-death runs (As long as there are no mechanics that require you to block and kill you with 0 mitigation). So might be a useful tool for inexperienced players to help them beat content like Veteran Maelstrom Arena, Vateshran Hollows, etc.

    idk thi

Yes, the vampire tank is not bad, but there are situations when it becomes useless. For example, Hel Ra Citadel, when the first two bosses are very simple, but the warrior does 4 hits of heavy damage, and each hit is able to push you that dispell mistform (control immunity, lol). In the end, I always miss 2 hits, because it's virtually impossible to cast the mistform before the hit. Maybe if this thing is given push immunity, I'll think about it. But for now, it just feels like fun misery.
Sometimes I think it would be funny if the 4 vampire would have a mistform instead of a block, get control protection like a block, but still work like the current mistform. Maybe then the Stage 4 tank would have been treated differently, because it's a different way to play. You have more defense and sustain, but you can't attack and heal like in a normal block. That would be interesting. Probably. Of course, I'd like to keep the healing option like Blood Mist.
