I see everywhere full of random people at pledges, bgs, trials, pvp coming to my group and he is 500 cp over me but he deals 0 damage i am tank but everytime i go pledge need to change dd because our dds ... This game is really easy to me did veteran maelstorm arena with 300 cp no buff run first try can solo veteran dungeon with solo build (tzogvin briarheart selene or velidreth maybe bloodspawn)(except anti solo bosses) never did normal trial only did veteran and didnt fail thats why i never understand how can 1500 cp dd or healer or tank be not different than a npc im asking because im really curious about it what is the hard part to deal damage or tank or healing [snip]?

Really? you are signing up for RANDOM events and complaining you are getting random players to go with your random event?

Thats your problem, your solution is find friends or guildings to play with if you can find any that want to play with you with that attitude.

I asked myself this question and I throw myself in this category on DPS I'm no good or ok but the healing I'm good and tanking I'm ok. The problem for me it's hard to farm for the good gear and be a group of people that know what they're doing.

I also want to see the no damage logs, i kind of would want to ask for their builds, so i can queue for random dungeons too as a dd. Would be fun to see how it goes.

Because the game does very very bad job at teaching news players. No explanation of GCD, no explanation of Weaving, No explanation of how taunting works, no explanation of even what roll dodging even do apart from movement. There's a ton of stuff that flat out isn;t explained, and if you did vMA first try (which i doubt hard) you probably had a ton of guidance since you were a baby account, and i can infer that you got into a pretty good guild early that ingrained you a ton of stuff, which most don;t because most people start out this game as a questing/chill enviroment.

I don't deal 0 damage lmao, i can parse decently well (did 98k on stamblade for foi which is around 4k off from max damage, at this point its just crit rng). CP doesn't really matter, i know people that entered the game and wanted to do hard content and went got good, others that took it lightly, are cp1000 but don't know what a rotation is yet. All you need to do to beat overland and questing stuff is to heavy attack and aoe, nothing else.

Because, just maybe, they are casual players, playing the game for fun.

I've been playing since early access. I have high cp points. I use crafted gear. I don't normally do any group content. I don't really care what damage I do as long as the enemy dies before I do. I do NOT expect to do spectacular damage or superfast times or anything for trials or pledges, especially if I'm in a pug.

If you have expectations of people doing high amounts of damage you might want to look for a progression guild, or a trials guild that enforce "you must do X dps or you can't play with us" rules.

I would guess answer to OP's question is that since the changes to CP in the last update people are grinding for more CP. So you have a lot of people doing random dungeons and bg's on all of their characters to get max XP for CP gain. So you may be doing a random with someone's crafter or characters that they haven't developed fully. This probably isn't always the case but I'm sure it happens

To get the "good gear" you have to do the harder group type content, right? So the people who don't have the gear and don't do the dps to get the gear are supposed to get the gear...how? If they are in good guilds that take time to teach and help out, they can get the "good gear". Still doesn't mean they have the skill to use it to the best effect, but they'd have the gear.

I could have the Adamantine Armor of Untouchability and the Sword of Ultimate Badassery and I'd still suck at trials and pledges. Gear doesn't equal skill.

Dear, at some point in your ESO life you HAVE been carried by another member of your dungeon run. We all have. It is impossible for you not to have done so unless you never did a dungeon before CP 810.

Ya know some people also have alt character they do pledges or random dungeons with and those characters are mostly not fully geard, lack of skill morphs and skillpoints and now with the cp changes also may not have their cp points in the right spots.

Another option is people trying out new roles,I will take myself as an example I play mainly as healer for group content but the times I changed to DD it was for solo content where I pretty much can do what I want, but when someone needed help for a dungeon or pledges I helped as DD as changing back to healer just for one or 2 dungeons wasnt really needed. My dps wasn't great but I could carry my own weight, for not being used to play as dd i did ok,not great but ok (because I play a sorc and that makes things a loooot easier as I use 2 pets)

Option 3 would be people playing for fun and they don't care what gear they wear or if they deal the greatest dps, what is in 90% of the content not an issue as long as it isn't vetDLC dungeons or vet Trials.

    Question answered?
