People that leave DLC dungeon randoms, and a suggestion to the Dev team.

    These additional penalty ideas are very bad. There are enough game glitches that cause the que timer through no fault of player. That doesn't need to be made worse.

    The daily random should just be base game dungeons. Easy fix.

    I don’t sub and a main reason I don’t is because I will never get a DLC. I also can not go to a DLC if I want to. So it’s not a great perk but reason enough for me not to sub.

    XP and crystals I want every day. Gear farming; once and done. So I want gear I sub for a month and farm it, fill the craft bag and unsub.

    I’ve learned to manage my inventory and I’m not crippled in any meaningful way by not subbing but I probably would sub if I didn’t dnt have to get a DLC for a random.

    So in my case at least ZOS is losing out on a sub.

    I’d be ok with that….and making DLC dungeons veteran maybe. They get the sub money, people can que without dlc dungeons if they choose while having a sub. I like it.

    As long as cp1000+ dps are allowed to enter dlc dungeons and just hold down heavy attack/spam 1 skill the whole time while larping to themselves, I will leave unhallowed grave the second it pops up, wait 2 minutes so some other unlucky healer gets screwed over in my place and will hop on a different healer to try again.

    THIS. I almost lost it the other day. I was on my tank running a random normal- not on a high dps with a taunt queued as a tank. My actual tank. This guy was 2400+cp as a dps I thought man this’ll be quick. The guy literally did nothing but heavy attack with a lightning staff ONCE in a while. Most of the time he would literally crouch to hide during boss fights. He was kicked from group after the fist boss haha. We were at scalecaller which went flawlessly when we got another dps. Lol

    Why would anyone do that?

    If you are lucky enough to get an actual tank and an actual healer even 20K * 2, which the most basic rotation with the most basic gear will afford with the tank and the healer providing buffs/debuffs will make short work of a boss that is not chasing you all over the place.

    I mean the tank and the healer probably hoped for better; if the boss has a burn phase is going to feel more like a simmer phase instead, but even that will do 'in a pinch'.

    Part of the problem is also the structure of “story telling” of the chapters through dlc dungeons. This one joins dlc dungeons to get the loot, yes, but also for the story. But not all players are going for the same.

    Companions are really lacklustre dealing with, and surviving in dungeons.

    Please ZOS stop this story telling through dlc dungeon business.

    Or I suppose the devs could make the 15 minute queue penalty account-wide.

    That would cut down on rapid fire alt-queuing-and-quitting when players get the random dungeon they queued for instead of what they really want: the Daily Random Quick 'N Easy FG1 Dungeon.

    As long as it works. I havent seen it in a while, but there was a bug/glitch for a while that would give a player a penalty for up to an hour. Or nearly any and all of the prior UD events where the DF just goes bonkers. We still have to drop queue with a full group to get a dungeon...nearly daily.

    If they could guarantee those bugs were dealt with, sure, but by the next UD event I fully expect to queue for vMHK and end up in a BG.
