So what enemy do you absolutely hate coming across in ESO? This could be down to how it looks, the mechanics it uses, anything.

I think they're called Fetcher Flies, they're all over Hew's Bane. I hate, hate, hate aggroing those things!!!

I hate the cliff racers. They aren't tough and have a predictable attack routine, but still hate them.

Those dual wielding, aggravating, jerks (to put it kindly) that have those insanely short casting times that cc you before you can either get to them, or even notice they’re in the group to begin with. What are they? Marauders? Raiders? Not the ones that jump over you and sharpen their swords and spin attack you. Those... other ones.

The guards/menders at resources in Cyrodiil. They make my skills not fire (even without negate!), delay my skills, cause me to be unable to bar swap, magically regenerate their health to full and occasionally teleport.

Rats. Especially with abilities that need to target the enemy specifically, you sure you lined up with a real target only to strike dead a rat between you and the target.

Hey! You're not supposed to just throw out the objectively correct answer in the very first reply of the thread! That's cheating! :P

Kotu Gave aren't even remotely difficult, yet I hate coming across them with a passion.

But even worse are all the trash mobs that leap up into the air and stay there for a second or two before coming down. Or the trash mobs that put a guard on another mob, and no matter how much you focus the red-glowing mob, you still manage to kill the other one, so the guarding mob falls to his knees and becomes invulnerable for a second or two. These serve no purpose, no purpose at all in the whole wide universe, other than to drag out a nuisance encounter. They don't present an interesting challenge; they just interrupt fun and waste our time, and I'll spend more time going around them than it would have taken to just fight them if I can.

Kotu Gava Broodmothers. I see one flapping, I head the other direction. GD insect things.... yuck.

Ah, yeah, the Fetcherfly hives in Vvardenfell are a real nuisance too - but if you don't run into one or actively choose to bother it, they're not a problem.

That weird looking blue/black demon-dragon thing that ESO recycles in so much content. Can’t we get new interesting mobs without repeating the same design?

    Red-phase Centurions.

It never fails that they focus on the player who's least prepared for their whirling blade arms of death and then they scream "Tank?!!" like I'm supposed to be doing something about it.

And so I find myself typing "it's untauntable" in the middle of a boss fight.

Echoing Hollow in NW Murkmire. It has been buffed into a disgusting mini-trial (although it's a WB, lol) that requires at least 5-6 people to kill within a reasonable amount of time. Our group of 4 required about 20 minutes to take it down, it's extremely frustrating given the ridiculous self-healing.

The other revolting boss is Drodda the final boss of vet Direfrost Keep, her self-healing is revolting if not handled properly.

I guess I hate bosses that heal themselves.

If four people took twenty minutes, then they weren't killing the totems.

yes, the self-healing is annoying and excessive, but you are supposed to prevent it.
