Yes. From someone at ZOS that likes Raptors and decided they wanted Sotha Sil to make a fabricant based on something that has never existed in Tamriel?

Actually, Fabricants are designed to emulate the form and behavior of their Tamrielic counterparts. They are constructed from an amalgam of grown flesh and metallic grafts and are powered by a soul gem.

What that means is that Fabricants are based on creatures that live in Tamriel - also they are cyborgs. As in they are part machine and part living organism. Meaning that Sotha Sil took real animals and combined them with technology.

Which is definitely evident with the Cyborg Raptors.

Yes, I am sure that if ZOS has the time, they will include the live raptors in the game so they can lore justify Sotha Sil making a fabricant of something that does not exist in Tamriel.

    What a strange assertion...

Just because you have not seen it yet in Tamriel doesn't mean they don't exist. The lore literally states that the fabricants we see in the game (the cyborgs specifically) have full organic counterparts in Tamriel. We have every reason to think that there are living counterparts of the Verminous in Tamriel.

Consider how much of Tamriel we have not even seen yet - like central Jungles of Elsweyr, the heart of Black Marsh, the rest of Hammerfell or Morrowind. Chapter introduce new creatures all the time - it is not unreasonable or lore breaking to think that Verminous are out there in Tamriel / Nirn.

Sure. But remember that they aren't in the game because Lore suggests that there is such a thing. They appear to be in the game because someone at ZOS wanted Raptors in the game. The Lore follows the introduction.

They were introduced all the way back in the original Morrowind game, in the Tribunal expansion of 2002 - that's why they are in ESO. It was not some arbitrary decision for their inclusion.
Also their very existence in the game does suggest that their full biological counterparts in Tamriel do exist, because that is what they lore says about fabricants.
And we know they are not Daedra

No more Guar, but what about more Kagouti? They are pretty awesome, and we could use more of them in game :)

It would be fun to ride around Stonefalls on a more dino-esque mount, if there was a way to make it lore friendly.

These creatures do exist and we know there are more dinosaur like creatures in bits of info from Black Marsh.

Was about to comment that Verminous Fabricants do indeed originate from the Tribunal DLC. However, they are not the only Fabricant we can see in that DLC, as the Hulking Fabricants exist as well. Hulking Fabricants don't resemble anything found on Nirn either, appearing to be some twisted chimera-like amalgamation of different reptilian and insectoid creatures.

Another thing to take note of is that the Verminous and Hulking Fabricants - the only two that don't resemble any creature on Nirn - were the only ones that appeared in the Tribunal DLC for Morrowind. All of the Fabricants that are clearly modelled after regular animals were introduced in ESO. Since the Fabricants are one of Sotha Sil's many experiments that not only seek to replicate what is found on Nirn, but also improve on them, it isn't too far-fetched of an idea to say that the Verminous and Hulking Fabricants are not based on any creature from Nirn, and were simply created by Sotha Sil as experimental predators. The Hulking Fabricant can then clearly be seen as an attempt at directly combining various traits from different animals together artificially, while the Verminous Fabricant is the result of taking those traits and combining them in a way that "makes sense", rather than slapping bits and pieces together chimera-style. Thus, the Clannfear-like fabricant, an agile and powerful predator.

That is no longer the case - the new art shows that they are basically very large insectoid creatures that were modified with metal parts. In a way they look like a distant cousin to the chaurus.

    New Art of Hulking Fabricant
    LG-cardart-Hulking_Fabricant.png

Also there is a strange insistence that there is nothing on Nirn like these creatures when 1. They are not that outlandish compared to many of Tamriel's inhabitants and 2. we the player audience have not been everywhere on Tamriel, let alone Nirn...

Until we have been to every corner of Tamriel, and even the island of the sea elves, and still have not seen their organic counterparts - then I will give credence to the idea that there is nothing on Nirn like them but I find that highly doubtful.

When I look at these creatures and the way they were implemented & presented, it is basically telling the player that Sotha Sil has been to many places across the world. I find it far, far, more likely that these are creatures pulled from some exotic locations in Nirn and were mechanically modified - because that is exactly what they look like.
