Noticed many in PTS in Blackwood searching for the Oblivion Portals and are having trouble finding them. I have currently found 10 Oblivion Portals, I would imagine that's how many spawn locations they created.

Mysticman✭✭✭I just spend a hour running around in circles looking for a Oblivion Portals never found a single one. I've been on the PTS everyday and never came across one. This hide the Portal idea sucks big time. They should leave at least one open so players can get in to test the content. That is the idea, right.Edited by Mysticman on April 27, 2021 5:45AM2 -

A bit of hiding may be ok in contrast to the huge harrowstorm visibility over miles as in Greymoor. However, it looks like there should be a little bit more visual indication if people are in the area.I just spend a hour running around in circles looking for a Oblivion Portals never found a single one. This hide the Portal idea sucks big time.2 -

Speak for yourself. When doing dailies for motifs in Western skyrim and the reach, that massive visibility is what kept me going.
Can't imagine spending half an hour per toon hunting for these portals just to get my daily quests done.
Not to mention, the zone chat in Blackwood is going to be spammed with locations even harder than in previous content, so all that hide the portal idea dies right there.
I get that they want to encourage the idea of exploration, but this is a bit much.
Maybe add an item to the main story that let's us "scry" for the locations of these portals, maybe a Sigil Stone? Wink 😉4
