A: Play on Console.

This is easy. First, I never liked zos guild trader system. I have two characters only and they have been using the same epic gear they got at cp 160 years ago. I don't craft or do trials and vet content or PVP. Is all about overland and story content along with delves public dungeons and world bosses. The last thing I bought was food. And that was a stack of 100.

I actually do craft, cause completionist and I can craft furniture and things for my home as well as weapons and gear, but I agree with you on the rest. But I actually like the guild trader system, EXCEPT for its bias to CP160+ content. When I was a lowly level 1-50, I couldn't find food or gear to help me on any of the guild traders.. I had the gold, it just wasnt available. This was before I was in a guild. The guild helped me with food and gear for my level until I hit 160, and then they helped me grind dungeons til I got the correct armor set for my character, as well as helping me learn the ropes on playing the game and nuances of various races and classes. And they will do the same with any noob who joins, and I will as well, in addition to encouraging all new players to join a good guild that doesnt discriminate against low levels, because the better the noobs play the game, the better it is for all of us. And the traders allow the guilds to stay open.

TTC?
Right now I have pretty much everything the game offers (excluding crown store) or I want. I have a boatload of gold and don’t do anything with it. I have 99% of all the motifs. 80+% of the crafting recipes and diagrams. Every pice of gear I use is gold including jewelry.
I was actually thinking most every other player was in the same situation and they need to find a way to remove gold.
It wasn’t hard to do. I just quest and do daily writs. I sell pretty much all my extra gold mats because I don’t need more. Purple mats are the only things I get short on and that’s because I do the master writs. I’m sitting on 15k vouchers right now and have everything the vendors sell. I get the envelopes but out of maybe 10 I get one design I don’t have. I put the duplicates on traders but that just gets me more gold that I have nothing to spend on.
I’m not good at decorating so I don’t buy houses. What else? Trade gold for crowns? I do if there is something I really want but that is kind of rare. I have the banker and merchant.
So there is you answer. Buy it all and you can’t spend it.
