I recently switched over to ESO PC from ESO PS4 because I thought that my laptop would be able to handle the gameplay, these are my specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz, 2112 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
System RAM: 16.0 GB
SSD: 1Tb
GPU:
Intel® UHD Graphics 620 DirectX 12 (Driver Date 9/6/2020)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 DirectX 12 (Driver Date 4/12/2021)
They meet the minimum requirements however whenever I play the game for longer than 30-45 minutes my game freezes. Right before this happens my NVIDIA Graphics Card stats say it is performing at 100% and approximately 61° C and then once the game freezes my NVIDIA Graphics card completely disappears from my device manager. Is this normal? Does this just mean my laptop is not able to handle the game or is there something actually wrong with my laptop? I would appreciate any advice!
