Why is run speed being nerfed?

All the other cp changes aside, with the debatable rationale of why it may be bad (or good depending your pov) - what possible reason could there be to justify nerfing the run speed?

E.g. reducing current 8% to 4%

This affects all chars equally - new player, old veteran, etc. How is nerfing by half the run buff related to reducing the endgame power of players? Seems just a QoL nerf, made more miserable by letting us get used to current speed.

    Can't have to much fun.

Stay safe and enjoy the journey 😊

PS. ZOS stop the micromanagement of the green tree 🥺

    Yup.

On top of this, the actual goal of these changes were only to reduce the CP required to have all passive CPs..... not to nerf us.

Instead of reducing the number of CP star stages, they could have cut the points required to reach a CP star stage in half.
    10CP per x 4 stages = 40CP for a star (
    Vs
    5CP per x 4 stages = 20CP for a star

All of this can be done on a case by case basis - only reduce the max number of stages on passive CPs that need nerfing...

The sad part is they are buffing Caltrops next patch to make Stam DPS more desirable, but then nerfing the Offensive Penetration CP Star which is vital for Stam DPS at the same time  Mag DPS won’t even notice.

That's exactly the way of ZOS! ;)
Remember the time ZOS nerfed Night Mother's Gaze and Sunderflame without any reason!

Why the hell they don't change the passives of the middle armor to penetration and everything is good?
Why easy if complicated is another option?

In the end ZOS will remove major breach! ;)

Imo the worst part of Stamina is that the vast majority of groups don't want to pull out calculators to optimize penetration values / uptimes lol. Plus considering you'd have the downside of fighting only in melee.... In the end it's not worth it. Magicka lets you jump in the fight without constantly worrying about this stuff which is much more fun, and they're very strong.

I don't think sets like NMG or Sunderflame will make a comeback but I do think the best way to fix the issue rn is:
    - Medium Armor Dexterity passive buffed from 219 Weapon Crit per piece to 438, so they have slightly more Crit chance than Magicka.
    - Medium Armor Agility passive also provides 1% critical damage done per piece.
    - Reduce the Physical Resistance of all enemies in trials/dungeons/arenas from 18K to around 15K so Stamina DPS groups aren't so far behind (especially solo builds in arenas) unless they stack nearly every source of reduce resistance sets.
