We will be performing maintenance on the PTS on Wednesday at 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC).
Unable to access EU PTS, only NA
I have a number of friends who are unable to access the EU PTS, they play on both EU and NA on live but they are only getting the option to join the NA server on PTS, the EU option is not there for them to select, anyone know a solution to this.

✭✭✭✭There is only one PTS. They copy the servers every other week or so, so expect an EU character copy in the 3rd PTS week.2 -

That makes no sense then as they are not visible for us and appear to be on a server on there own, they have an entirely different login screen to the rest of us as well which is very weird.

✭✭✭✭✭There is no NA or EU PTS server, there is just a PTS server.
The character information there is either copied from the NA or EU variants.
In general they start with the NA character information then alternate. All the while updating the PTS itself with the latest version of the test server client.
When the EU characters are eventually copied, you will still be contacting the same PTS server that is available now with the latest PTS client. And the NA characters will be deleted.

In the past when its been an NA copy first (as it always is) I can make a max level toon (as I only have EU on live) but obviously not bring EU toons as they are not copied in the first PTS cycle.
What happens if you have both NA and EU toons on live? Will it always copy the relevant toons across (NA on the NA cycle then EU on the EU cycle) and still let you make new max level toons?0 -

Essentially yes. Let’s say you have a level 30 character on the NA server (we will call this “Character A”), and a CP 1000 character on the EU Server (“Character B”).
Right now you have access to Character A (and any other NA server characters) on the PTS server with the ability to make template characters of various power levels.
In a few weeks, as the PTS advances, all the NA characters will be deleted and you will lose access to Character A (and any NA alts). Character B (and any other EU characters) will now be available, along with the same templates to make characters at various levels.
Keep in mind to make these template characters you do need an available character slot.
Edit: There is only one pts. The EU and NA servers have to share it, so they alternate which server gets to put their characters on it at any one time.Edited by BlueRaven on April 24, 2021 1:04PM0 -
Ok, that explains the confusion as to why some people with both were seeing different things. The login screen issue is also resolved, it is set to EU at the top right on PTS unless you select PTS which then sets it to PTS even though both are PTS regardless which is why the login screen they shared was confusing me.
