I am aware that Relequen's proc now scales with weapon/spell damage, requiring 5478 damage to reach the amount of power it has on the live servers. However, despite being quite well over the required weapon damage, Relequen is dealing only half the damage that it does on live.

On the PTS:

Why is this? Is the scaling not working properly? Or is this a stealth nerf? Seeing as to how it's Zenimax's goal to allow stamina specs to be competitive in endgame, I find this to be a really odd decision.

oh i have the answer to this actually. it scales off your wep damage when initially applied, so if you were unbuffed when you started using it, it will use your unbuffed wep damage upon time of application for its whole lifespan.....

i suppose that means you can fully buff, apply it on some kind of nirnhoned 2hand sword setup for boosted wep damage, then swap to frontbar and it will hold its damage

Interesting. (I’ll be sure to note that.) but if that’s the case, shouldn’t that be patched accordingly because I know sets are supposed to update in power according to buffs acquired but if a proc remains unbuffed for its duration upon application, then that’s a problem which can use some rectification.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

i know a while back i noticed they changed DoTs, and even HoTs, that are effects on a player, to retain their initial values even as stats changed, though they do take into account certain things, like HoTs will take % healing from the powered trait into account.

it never used to be this way, so i'm guessing the change was made to reduce server calculations, which makes a lot of sense. i can't imagine they would change it back, as it IS a lot of calculations the old way, recalculating for all stats every tick vs for a few, which they likely regarded as on the fly buffs that would need to be checked for every tick to work correctly with the flow of gameplay

It's buffed to insane levels for me... I got the tooltip to 500 per stack...

In the actual Trials, it will be over 8000 weapon damage.
In that case it will be much stronger.
