Proc sets and max health scaling

Probably isn't a good idea. Already pro PVPers are seeing tooltips of 20k damage on a tank running Crimson Twilight with the Necromancer Bone Goliath ultimate and building into high HP.

High HP provides greater survivability; it should come at the expense of damage, healing, and everything else. Please take another look at this before it hits live, as it will be overpowered in PVP. I'm not sure max health scaling is a good idea at all as a result. If you have higher health, you should not as badly need (nor be able to have) more damage, healing, or other advantages over players with lower health pools.

It seems to go against everything the developers have said they're trying to accomplish with the changes to proc sets.

a very dangerous move that could fuel the creation of even more immortal builds...every warden will become even more more overpowered

Tank? You can get almost that Crimson tooltip on the back bar with almost 7000 weapon damage (fully buffed) on the front bar.

OH here we go. We got them to give us huge stats. And make procs sets scale off our already insane damage, but Crimson is the problem. This is just getting disgusting.

ZOS put and end to this whining, give the PVPers all a PVP artifact or remove class/race/gear from PVP. But stop NERFing PVE for no reason at all.

Building for damage doesn't come at the expense of healing, survivability, or anything else.

    ---

Everyone wanted proc sets to scale based upon stats. Well, guess what, tank sets scale off tank stats, as they should.

Crimson is an exception to the rule here, though. It deals Bleed Damage. The new framework said that damage dealing procs will scale off WD/SpellD, healing procs will scale off of Max Stat (Total Stam or Mag)

Crimson ignores all this and deals damage + heals based on your max HP.

And if you guys think a 22k Crimson TT is busted, wait till you see Explosive Rebuke :D

Oh wait, and they can stack? Hope you liked the tank meta, get ready for tank bombers!

Anyhow have you actually used Explosive Rebuke? I find it hard to believe in this highly mobile meta it's all that threatening.

What PvE builds use Crimson? Generally curious because it seems completely useless for that. Although I'm sure you could make some interesting combos

I think it's pretty easily fixed; they addressed it just fine with most of the sets for the most part. If it does damage, it scales from damage stats. If it heals, it scales from healing stats.

    Just do that

If it goes live it's just gonna be nerfed hard in a couple months anyway given the developers' stated intentions here, so I'm like... let's skip ahead to that part and save everyone the time/abuse/trouble.

Lmfao. Everyone knows, though, that it absolutely should. This right here is the problem the developers have clearly stated a desire to address with these changes: that the sets make it possible to get "free damage" without sacrificing healing, survivability, or anything else.

Testing on the PTS and it ain’t hard to just run a resto or lightning staff on a high health necro to hit folks with ER. I’ve have had mixed experience with testing partners with it being dodgeable, but generally seems like on a channeled weapon it’ll always connect.

Low key hope that one makes it to live because lol. It’s been fun to rip a heavy resto and one tap people in a fully defensive and sustain oriented build that still gets huge crimsons outside of a clown form.

Although, leeching plate may actually be better than crimson for how much healing and pressure it can put out.
