How about give craft bag to everyone, but only eso plus member can deposit anywhere. none eso plus player need to go to bank, and click depoit all craft material???

i mean there are more and more craft material in this game, crafting bag is no longer a convenient, it is simply a must have.

or i don't mind pay $100 to permanently unlock it, forcing sub will hurt population, i have many friend refuse to play a game that they need sub to do crafting.....

If they gave the craft bag to everyone there would be no reason to sub so why would they even consider doing this.

Not gonna happen....yet. May happen in a few years or something but craft bag/double bank space is pretty much only reason players buy plus. $15 a month from majority of players is better than $100 from your friends that refuse to play the game.

why? simply give money not enough?? am not unwilling to pay, i just don't like the idea of sub. alot of people don't like. it is the reason why eso went from sub to pay to buy to play.

or are you arguing that none sub player don't spend much money?? with those $140 house and $25 house guest, we have plenty place to spend money in this game. Do we really need a sub at all??

like i said, eso plus can deposite anywhere, they can loot all they like. none eso player have to return to town, go to bank npc, click on deposit crafting material to a gain acess to crafting bag.

it is simply cheaper to buy eso plus then crown, unless they were on sale.

The craft bag is very convenient. That's the point. It's an incentive to get players to subscribe. It would be a very bad business decision to give it away for any one time cost.

First- eso came out as a pure sub game, you must buy then sub each month. which almost kill the game. it is already proven that not all player like to sub.

Second-none sub player do pay same if not more money on this game. we need to buy the dlc, crown pack for assistant, housing. it is not like buy to pay player are free looter

Third- did i ask for full access to crafting bag? no, i ask to be able to despite all material at bank. eso plus member still have a clear advantage.

fourth- the way they handle crown store, crate, and eso plus already driven huge chunk of player away.

p.s. i mean if Zos make it clear that we must sub to do crafting.. will that not hurt population?? are you sure it is not hurting the game??

I did the math. It is significantly less expensive to buy all four DLCs in a year than it is to pay for ESO+ for the same year. When taking into account the recent sale on crowns (~40% off) and I understand DLCs go on most years then one can save significantly by avoiding the subscription.

As a new player who has is not interested in paying a subscription every month I appreciate the choice we have. In the end, the crafting bag would be very nice but I can see why they keep it as an exclusive to ESO+. We all make our choices and it seems Zenimax made theirs.

The real convenience is the storage space. It is a secondary convenience is the instant deposit. I think @SilverBride has spoken correctly here.

did you read anything i wrote? am not asking for convenient.

convenient is able to loot all you like, it automatically goes to craft bag. what i ask for it mandatory

mandatory- you can only deposit material in to the craft bag at town bank npc. so none eso plus member still need to run to town all the time, but at least they have place to put all those cursed crafting material.

This gets posted every month, what's the point? You could hold a poll of 10 thousand ESO players and even if every single last one voted for it, ZOS wouldn't suddenly change their mind on the crafting bag. It's the main selling feature of ESO+ and would cause them to hemorrhage subs and revenue.

Now, more Bank, Storage, or Player Inventory I could definitely get behind, and more importantly, so could ZOS-if there was sufficient incentive for them to do so. Make a post on that instead, please.

Why would self imposing a minor inconvenience persuade ZOS to diminish the biggest incentive to subscribe to ESO+?

I’d stop subbing the second they take away my craft bag access. I’m already annoyed that ESO+ makes me do DLC dungeons on the random finder, if I could cancel it AND buy the craft bag, I would in a heart beat. I imagine many casual subscribers would share that view and thus ZoS would lose a looooot of subscription fees.

I can see why they keep it exclusive and agree with their rationalisation.

Yes I did, but it wasn't clear what you were asking for. I think I may have figured it out, though.

You want to buy the craft bag so you have unlimited storage without subscribing.
Subscribers mats would automatically store in the bag.
Nonsubscribers would have to go to the bank and manually move mats into the bag.

If this is what you are proposing then I still say no. You can't have the unlimited craft bag unless you subscribe. Not even with added restrictions.

Subs are consistent mostly reliable revenue. Revenue that can be easily monitored and predicted. Crown store sales not so much. Having a reliable source of revenue shouldn't be underestimated.

ESO+ is a very good bargain compared to other types of entertainment. About the same cost of a movie once a month if you get popcorn and a drink. Or maybe three games of miniature golf. Four beers in a bar if you buy domestic. Or hours and hours of fun right in your own home playing a game.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

    I couldn't agree more.

I know that the OP isn't talking about taking away crafting bag access, but giving it to all, with the minor inconvenience of having to go to the bank if you're not subbed, but I would unsub and take the minor inconvenience to be honest.

I don't want access to the DLC dungeons, hence my never doing randoms, I would like it optional to take part in the DLC aspect of the dungeon finder, but that's another argument.

Although don't get me wrong I wouldn't be against getting it as standard, or even being able to buy it separately. The only thing I sub for is the crafting bag and this would remove the reason for me buying ESO+

actually it is a wise move from Zos, like they did five years ago. if Zos continue to enforce sub model, this game would be long dead. But now they are starting to going back, and with current cash shop and b2p model, it would be consider as P2W.

also just saying.. they would earn more make people live easier. they already came up with b2p model, sub should be convenient, not p2w. unable to craft is a huge deal for some new player.

    Craft bag is p2w?

    mmm ok.

Not being given thing is driving players away?

    hmmm

Games been growing it's playerbase for years now!

    And...

Friend ragequits and not your loss?

    Did you like this friend?

And this thing about the game about died on birth thus they needed to kill the sub...

They dropped the sub right before the console release because they wanted the game to succeed on console and that userbase was already paying for "live and plus". They knew that huge player base was averse to anything that added a new paywall into the mix and with the sub, would have turned off all but the hardest-core elder scrolls fans.

It worked well for them and ESO got through it growing pains and is sitting as one of the current top mmo's active today.

Oh, and the craft bag is like .50 cents a day.
Pretty good value for an entertainment option.

thats what happened about six and half years ago, when i first start this game. back then, there are no b2p model, everyone must sub to play.
