Why are there Vvardenfell style benches and chairs?

The Leyawiin style furnishings nearly across the board look jaw droppingly amazing. The benches and chairs look very out of place to me though.

It's weird to me because that smooth curved/bow style of furniture was pretty obviously intended to be Vvardenfell style and now suddenly it's Leyawiin too? Especially weird when the other types of Leyawiin furnishings (like cabinets and wardrobes) have their own clear style, boxey and intricate.
I just really love imperial style stuff and was looking forward to the new style of furnishings.

If im recalling correctly, House Hlaalu engages in quite a bit of trade with Cyrodiil. Its probably more likely that the Hlaalu furnishing style was inspired by Imperial styles, and given that Leyawiin is the first major imperial settlement you can reach by sea, the style favored there was adopted.

Think of it not as Hlaalu style, but Roman style, and it makes perfect sense.

It makes sense to me that regions next to each other would influence each other in style

The trading styles idea makes a lot of sense but it doesn't really appear anywhere else so far that I can recall with furnishings so it feels a bit weird (although it's honestly something I'd like to see more of when I think about it). These chairs and the long benches specifically are just so jarringly similar.

I guess my issue comes down to why the Vvardenfell chairs look like the Leyawiin style (but Vvardenfell came first so I'm looking at it in the reverse), since the style itself is Roman and imperials are blatantly the most Roman influenced race we know so far.

The Leyawiin armchairs though are more of what I'd expect in terms of influence but difference compared to the Vvardenfell armchairs. (Not at home so I can't post a picture for anyone who hasn't seen them)
