The level of attention Khajiits got in that "year long story" was awesome. They were the real star of that show, not dragons... shame that Argonians can not have it too.... Or imperials. It is far better to do 2 separate year-long stories focused on individual playable race than mixing it... Especially that other races already got their own "year-long" stories... It is unfair not to make each race to have their own year on the pedestal...Cannot express my disappointment. I really hoped that with imperial-themed year there will be more imperial-themed items.
A horse, a pet, a motif, a house bundle...
Not much new interresting things to buy. Again😔
Good side, my money will be with me.
because it is mostly an Argonian themed year, Not Imperial. Blackmarsh is the larger percentage of the Blackwood map.
Perhaps we will go there after further explorations of Hammerfell. Dunmer will get another chapter - so will Argonians & Nords. There's still northern Morrowind, Whiterun, Solstheim, etc.

:: Laughs in Breton ::
Argonians had a small zone expansion (Murkmire) and it came with two motifs (dead water and elder argonian), a bunch of new furnishings, a crate season, and a fancy house currently on sale. Bretons have the same base game motif, five houses and one furnishings style (that they share with imperials) since the beginning. We can't even get the ancestral Breton motif that gave the Ravenwatch NPCs.
well tbf doesn't the Reachmen count as Bretons - or an extension of Breton culture, or is that more of a Nord thing?

Keep in mind that the Heart of Black Marsh has yet to be revealed - we have only seen the edges of the marsh.

I expect the possibility that 4Q will have something between Shadowfen and Murkmire. Of course, if it is like Southern Elsweyr, it will be disconnected from everything else.

And we mustn't forget that the Bosmer also need something new, of course. Oh, but that was a different thread, sorry.

How hilarious it would be to have this functioning as mount?

All of them are descendants of Atmorans, but their history and cultures are vastly different.
The first human immigrants were the Nedes, who then split into Bretons (who intermingled with the Direnni Altmer) Imperials (who were slaves to the Ayleids and eventually rebelled and cherry picked what they would retain from that culture) and Reachfolk (who fled from Ayleid control but also defended themselves against the Altmer culture of the north and rather turned to Daedra and wild magic.)
The Nords are the cousins of the Nedes who stayed in Atmora and lived under dragon overlords for a couple millenia until they too migrated to Tamriel and eventually rebelled against their dragon masters.

I doubt you would want Syrabane's gear. ESO does not have cloth physics. It would be horrible in the game.
Irrelevant

Not once did i ask for a physics engine to be implemented for the syrabane robe, the devs could easily added the syrabane robes and they could behave like any other so called robe in the game currently.

No, you did not ask for it, but with this one, you might.
I dunno. Maybe not. If you just stand there, it would probably look awesome. It wouldn't look hinky until you started running and the fact that the robes are tied to the lower legs and the sleeves are attached to the hip becomes obvious. If you've been looking at that sort of stuff in the game since launch, maybe you got used to it. I never did.

i am SO gonna get the assistants omg
and i really want that fox mount if the weird mask/helmet can be toggled off...
overall looks like an amazing crate season. glad i have lots of gold saved up
Thank you so much for this datamine! I couldn't contain my excitement while waiting for your post
Many interesting items, very nice! I'm somewhat disappointed by Iron Atronach mounts... They look very similar to Storm Atronach mounts Let's hope that they will have awesome voices and effects... So far I can't make any planning just based on preview pictures.
Dremora Defalcator Duster costume is beautiful At least, on preview picture - let's hope it won't deform bodies of our characters in game.
I'm really surprised by Jester crates... Will they offer us another set of boring mounts - simple animals in Jester clothes?
Dremnaken Wrath Steed will make fine addition to my collection, without peordering Blackwood
Jazennisiir Fox mount will be gem-exclusive, most likely. The rider hold compass in their hand, same as riders of Apex mounts from baandari crates.I'm confused, are the new assistants actual ravens or these two individuals that hold ravens?
I'm 99.9% sure that assistants are just ravens These NPCs on pistures are only there to show us example of how we'll be holding our assistant crow.
I am 100% satisfied with my good old assistants, but these beautiful ravens would look awesome to roleplay with. Imagine running around with a crow on your hand So awesome!
If these NPCs would come as part of these asistans, my desire to buy them would be zeroIs that pony 5 more inventory slots?!
It's been long time since we got another +5 inventory slots, so I would guess... yes The horse looks beautiful, but those green bags are ugly They really spoil the image of this pet.

although from what I can tell from PTS stuff, pretty much all new furnishings (except some Deadlands style) are imperial style, all new homes are imperial style. The new trial is argonian (+Dagon). The two major cities of the zone are both imperial (Gideon is heavily imperial style despite being in Blackmarsh). I think it comes down to the devs really wanted to invest 50/50 imperial/argonian, instead of covering them over two separate years.

Idk, I still prefer kitty cats to birds imo.
