Using my existing characters?

Is there a way to copy my existing live characters to the test server? I had thought I would tinker with my character's appearance, but didn't want to use up a token while trying different looks...

Dont know how it is outside the test circles but during they switch which server gets copied after a few weeks. So with a little patience your chars will find their way there.

Otherwise just create a new one on pts.
If you are bound to change on live anyway in the future you can buy the token, start using it but dont Save the change. This way it doesnt get used up. At least it worked like this a few years ago.

the PTS server occasionally moves from NA to EU, (every 6 weeks or so...) At this time it is using EU copy, so if you only have NA server you have to make new characters.

However, they do give you almost any supplies, equipment and other goodies you might/need. (other than, locations, and other things your main character(s) would know).

Also, they provide you with 5000 crowns, you can use to buy for just about everything you could want. Each item, only costs usually only 1 crown but there are a few things that might cost 2 crowns.

If you haven't gotten everything, the first day, the next day, your supply of PTS crowns, will been filled to 5000 again. (I tend to buy up all the homes that are available, to use as way shrines. They too, are only a crown or 2.)

Back to your question about your characters, at this moment in time, EU is in the PTS, I'm guessing but NA should be loading in a week or two. At that time, NA characters will have been copied, into the PTS, from the from the Live server just a day or two, before.

Picking a new character in PTS, you can pick a ready made character, with a top level and all the goodies I talked about, plus a billion coins, (not crowns) or you can pick a level 15 character with some equipment, or lastly, you can get the regular, zero level character.

PTS doesn't have to be a loner, type thing, you and your friends can hook up in there and try some stuff, new, old or coming soon.
