It's pretty much unprecedented and I'd assume they'll end up giving us something so what would you like? I can't see them giving us extra ESO Plus time or free crowns... can't recall them ever doing that. So let's try and be constructive and give them some ideas.
I'll start with what I DON'T want- another bloody pet. Lord knows how many I already have but I don't need or want any more.
As much as I hate loot boxes a few crown crates would be fine. But real ones not the silly preview crates.
A name and race change token would be fine too. They come in handy from time to time.
An outfit would be fine but obviously it would have to be something new.
You must be new around here. It's pretty much unprecedented (...)
^ This.(...) Did my life end? No. Did anybodies? No.
The system had an issue, it happens. (...)
That's the reason why I don't like playing games with constant, mandatory updates on console, (or even Steam). You have two parties involved, doubling the amount of things that can go wrong. And when things do go wrong, there can be no emergency patches as they first have to be approved by Sony/MS.
As for compensation, 2 days downtime are a lot, but making outlandish compensation demands for a service outage effectively worth 1 buck gets you nowhere. Easy for me to say as a PC player who can play, but I'd say, Zos giving the PS4 players a mail with 3.5k gold and 3k AP (Login reward of the last 2 days) and maybe 2 Oroboros crates would be a nice gesture of goodwill.
I want nothing for it. Sub is $15 a month which is roughly 50cents a day. So at most its $1 lost. I am not so petty, addicted to this game, or so lacking in things to do, or self-entitled that I will make demands over the data equivalent of a natural disaster.
It's just a game, its just $1, calm down. Go outside or read a book or something.

Yet here you are bashing, baiting, & telling other customers how petty they're with their money and time?
The amount of money spent by the consumer is irrelevant.
Please people if you plan to use words like entitlement atleast understand the definition and context of such words origins.
You realize the irony that your post is bashing and baiting, right? But @Eirikir was stating that THEY PERSONALLY areThey aren't bashing anyone. They aren't baiting anyone. And many people would agree that it is petty.not so petty, addicted to this game, or so lacking in things to do, or self-entitled that I will make demands over the data equivalent of a natural disaster.
My hope is that ZOS have learnt three important lessons:
1) Be more considerate of regional holidays when booking maintenance - Easter weekend is a major holiday in the Christian calender and is mainly celebrated in Europe. ZOS should have been aware of this and pushed the maintenance back.
