Seriously PS4 players what would you like as compensation for this outage?

It's pretty much unprecedented and I'd assume they'll end up giving us something so what would you like? I can't see them giving us extra ESO Plus time or free crowns... can't recall them ever doing that. So let's try and be constructive and give them some ideas.

I'll start with what I DON'T want- another bloody pet. Lord knows how many I already have but I don't need or want any more.

As much as I hate loot boxes a few crown crates would be fine. But real ones not the silly preview crates.

A name and race change token would be fine too. They come in handy from time to time.

An outfit would be fine but obviously it would have to be something new.

They won't give anything for compensation. They have only did that once that i can remember when the PC EU server kept taking a dump and the PC NA server did a couple of times during this very event so they extended the event by like 10 days for all players. But the drop rate of motifs and such were so high that it completely tanked the motif market for almost the rest of the year.

Would be nice to be credited the missed daily rewards, regardless of anything else they might (probably won't) do.

The only people that are being compensated are Xbox and PC. They get extra festival time while we can sit and spin. We get nothing.

Credit for the missed daily rewards and the re-release of that Playstation 4 pet.


I already have one but at least it's ps4 themed.

I would not expect any cash shop items.

They extended the event but I doubt they’ll do anything else apart from maybe give us the daily rewards we missed out on but I doubt they’ll even do that.

Last year PS players got extra event time when pc/eu had problems.

A little care package would be nice. A few event tickets, maybe a couple crown crates, and maybe something special that no one else has like a one of a kind outfit or something. I'm with the others on the no pet thing though. Unless it'll actually do something besides being cute then I don't want it.

But overall, I'm happy with whatever they decide to do. Because they really don't have to do anything for us. It isn't written in the rule book that they have to give compensation after all.

Honestly same. I just wanted to be able to get my event tickets. And was ticked off they weren't saying anything about that, especially after they did nothing when the same thing happened during the Jester. Now that they have extended the event, I'm mostly Gucci. It does irritate me I lost out on ps+ time and daily rewards still, but the event being extended is good enough for me.

I don't expect anything, but I have no plans to buy any dlc/xpac this year, that's my compensation.

Better communication from them. I'd rather know what's going on even if it's bad need or they don't know. They need to improve this.

I recall this happened once before with PC EU, they extended the holiday event by a couple extra days for everyone.

Adding an extension to the event is fine and a boom for PC and Xbox but still a shaft to PlayStation players due to lost time and rewards compared to the other 2 realms. We are 3rd class now. [snip]

Personally I was going to purchase some crowns while on sale but not now given the poor customer service we have been getting lately from ZOS.

Extend my eso+ that is being wasted. Also wouldnt mind getting the daily rewards I'm missing from all my crafting writs, the daily log in rewards plus a decent amount of event boxes. Outside of that I'm not gonna bother hoping for cause even this small amount will most likely be out if the question

A full week's worth of trading in gold, for every guild that now has a crappy location -if any- due to missing the trader switch.

Would be nice if they refund the ESO+ for the days the servers are down. They already said they're extending the event (yes, for all platforms, but that's the way they did it in the past, now the others win on it, it's only fair). I don't want a pet (don't use them) or any (recoloured) costume. Missing login rewards would be nice. And maybe a crate or two (PS only then) to say sorry. So, nothing fancy ...

Extra time for the event and to be caught up on our daily rewards. I know there are others that might not think that thats enough but it is for me.

There is precedent for this. 2018 Anniversary saw EU servers go kaput for an entire week. Combination of a bad update, EU prime time stress, and real world internet issues across Europe.

The only “compensation” was an extension of anniversary by a week for all consoles. Nothing else. Expect the same. PS4 owners aren’t owed anything as this is a natural thing that can rarely occur.

ESO+ will not be extended as it doesn’t help those who don’t subscribe. Free crowns is never going to happen because that’s not fair to other platforms. There is no equivalency.

Simply accept this for what it is, enjoy the future extension of anniversary which is amazing, and move on.
