I cannot sign in at all in game or on elderscrollsonline.com

I keep getting a message saying that my username may be incorrect or inactive at this time.

When I try to log-in on the website to view my account information, it gives this error "There was a problem processing your request, please try again!"

What is happening?

It seems to uncapitalize the capital letters in my sign-in name and I imagine it's doing the same to passwords.
I can log in here but NO where else.

Yeah, dropping a free to play on top of an already buggy and laggy game was a real kick in the teeth to us that have been loyal customers for so long. I mean... what else did they honestly expect???

Same... I was concerned that my account had been hacked or something! At least ZOS are aware of the problem. I'm somewhat relieved it's not just me experiencing this!

same thing. Right after "common" timeout error 303/334 on area/zone change.

okay... so PS4 NA server... I got in, but I had a "queue position" to get logged in before...

That tells me... this is a server slammed issue... which again tells me... free to play event was a BAD idea.

I am too in "5 sec" queue... but that 5 seconds is more like 5 minutes...
