Yeah, I think I must have been wrong when I said I'd gotten some of the other fragments from the purple boxes. It was on PC EU where I haven't gotten any Royal Regalia pages yet, so I think my first two gold boxes must have had the fragments. I've farmed additional purple boxes on a few alts, and haven't gotten anything besides Mirth Shards, recipes, treasures, and some of the other event consumables like fireworks, pies, etc.

Yeah I don't think I've ever gotten enough style pages from a gold coffer to complete an entire set in the entire time they've done them, maybe the first couple

Luckily people get duplicates and dump em on traders at the end of the event.

Three gold motifs from three gold boxes but one is a duplicate. Endless banners. Wish the banners can be converted to fragments or something.

My whole thing on this event is that you can only get one stupendous box per day per account not even per character. Previous events that I've played in and I've only been recently getting back into this game have been character based from what I remember. Trying to finish the last two achievements for the event by getting the joke popper parts or the noise maker parts has proven extremely difficult and nobody is selling them if they've gotten them. I got my first one today and it doesn't seem like it's possible that they will drop from anywhere else but those gold boxes especially doing all of these six dailies on all my characters. If anybody has any extras and they'd like to sell them please let me know. I play on Xbox and my gamertag is. Braekshock. Thanks

Gold boxes have always been one per account.Other ones have been per character for purples.

Also,about Mirth frags,you can't get pig parts,I accidently bought a piece when buying a frag,and thought using it gave the pig piece it,lol.But I haven't seen any pig pieces as drops yet.I did get a Cadwell thoguh

Gold boxes don't give anything lol; they are just as bad as the purple ones. Wouldn't be so bad if we could farm purple boxes from alternative source instead of having to log into various alts for a slim chance at something.

I'm pretty sure the only part that drops out of the purple is Mirth. Purples also contain recipes, fireworks/pies/maybe twigs(I think I got one set of 2 twigs from purple), housing items. I received 10 mirth mostly from purple. I'm pretty sure all the other parts and pages only drop from yellow. Between two accounts I received enough Regalia pages and duplicates to learn the style on both accounts. I only received 1 Calwell page. I've only received 2 of each Joke and Festive part. They seem very rare.

After getting some pages in boxes and buying some with tickets, I've decided to just buy the ones I'm lacking with gold so I don't have to worry about the rest of the event except for getting tickets.

My RNG wasn't the best, but neither was it the worst.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the Jesters Festival event, but I very much want to be able to slack off for a couple of nights before the Anniversary event begins.

Purple boxes are not worth farming for. Have not gotten anything other than dazzles and banners from them. So I go kill the pig get the gold box and go do something else. Jesters festival is terrible.

These boxes are hot garbage and I'm not even cautiously optimistic about the Jubilee coming up. They seem determined to not reward us for anything. All I want are the tickets to hopefully earn a house that isn't hot garbage.

Like most MMOs I would expect some parts of ESO to be challenging, some parts to be straightforward and some parts to be frivolous. In the Event category I would have expected the Jester Festival to be in the frivolous category; it goes with the title and theme of the event. I would have expected the Morrowind/Clockwork City event to be more on the straightforward and even slightly challenging side. Yet I found it very easy to get everything in the previous event and it is the Jester Festival that is more difficult. There are too many fragments to try to get in a relatively short period of time and these seem to drop only from the gold boxes. Or if they drop from the purple ones the drop rate is pretty darn low because I have got nothing but rubbish from the purple boxes. ZOS seems determined to make some things unnecessarily a chore.

It's a problem with repetition.

This will be my 5th trip around the festival. Only thing new to me was a few style pages and the skin to buy with event tickets. I barely have any reason to participate this year beyond one quest a day.

It may feel rough if it's your first go, but you also don't need to get every single thing this time. It'll be back again next year.

There are lots of things players don't "need". You don't even "need" to play the game at all. As for the festival being back next year - no doubt it will be. I may not. None of that really justifies poor drop rates.

I've got the page for the new jerkin....4 or 5 times. It seems to be the only page that drops for me. Thankfully I only have 1 character that doesn't have their outfit set so I don't need more style pages.

I already had all the pig parts from last year on both accounts, both PC megaservers. Since I don't like pigs, the parts are sitting in their slots until hell freezes over or the game is dead. I'd actually really love to give them away....

I'm probably going to have to buy the regalia chest page on all but one account though.... highly unlikely I'll get three of them tomorrow.

I've gotten 3 regalia pages total since the event started. Drop rates aren't great and I haven't found anything in the purple boxes to make them worth doing. At least that means I can get in, get my tickets, and spend my time doing other things.

(I bought the 7th page today, because my tickets were at 11/12 and I had to buy something)
