Jester's Festival Boxes

So I know we get one of the stupendous per day, and you get can get 6 regular boxes from completing the dailies. But like previous events where other activities could get you boxes....does that work for this event. Like killing a delve boss, harvesting, wb killing? Or are we only getting 6 regular boxes per alt this go around? Thanks in advance.

You only get boxes from the Jester's daily quests.

I did all six on two characters day one, anyone need Jester Standards, I got a hundred. Loot table is meh.

One regalia page from the gold box, then it’s just green or blue stuff for jester’s box

Got a Regalia page the first day, plus a 1500g treasure in a regular box.
Today, I got 1x Cadwell + 2x Regalia pages in the gold box, and green/blue treasures in a bunch of purple boxes.
(plus pies, sparklers, lots of banners, the usual)

I got the Regalia chest in my first gold box, so now I'm just in it for the thrill of being a drunk cat fighting a pig.

I got one regalia page per day and I'm looking forward to not getting any more for the rest of the event because RNG.

I haven't gotten any pages on PC EU yet, but on PC NA I got 3-- 2 from one box, and 1 from another. [Edit: To clarify, the 2 from one box were a new armor and an old weapon I already know, and the 1 from the other box was an armor-- so 2 armor pages and 1 weapon page.] I don't know which box was from Thursday and which from Friday, because I was racing to finish the 3 new dailies before rollover and didn't make it, so when I went to turn them in I got a stupendous box and tickets for Friday.

It's kind of funny, because usually it seems like my event RNG starts out better on PC EU than on PC NA, then hopefully they even out by the end of the event, but this time it looks like my event RNG might be reversed.

There are too many collectibles with too many fragments - which are useless inventory clutter UNLESS you collect all the fragments.

And only one daily chance to get most of those, and all of them competing with each other for that one shot.

Sovereign Sow parts, Festive Noisemaker parts, Joke Popper parts... and arguably the Cadwell *and* Regal Regalia style pages (of which people will want complete sets).

There just aren't enough days and enough event tickets to even get the event-ticket purchasable ones.

All of the above REALLY ought to drop from purple boxes as well as from gold.

The other fragments DO drop from the purple boxes. I've gotten several already.

Every event there seems to be an outcry about the number of collectible rewards versus the duration of the event, the tickets per day, and the total tickets for that event.

I don't think I've ever had trouble getting all of the collectibles by the end of an event, except perhaps the opalescent monster styles or whatever they were, and that was mainly because I wasn't grinding dungeons to farm the bosses for them.

I don't grind on multiple characters during any of these events, just do the basic event activities on one character per server. The only notable exception is the anniversary event where we get rewards just for doing daily crafting writs, since I do those on all of my characters anyway.

Hopefully everyone will be able to get everything they want by the end of this event, if not from a box, then by trading for it, or buying it. I've even seen players literally just giving away their duplicate rewards for free in zone chat, especially in the final few days of a given event.

I'm gonna save myself the headache and just do the 1 quest for my tickets and then focus on double xp.

I've had the Mirth fragments from the purple boxes.

However, no Noise Maker, Popper or Sovereign Sow fragments from purple boxes.

If anyone gets any of the above fragments from a PURPLE box (not a GOLD one), can you please post a screenshot proving it?

I've only been doing a daily on one character on each account, both PC megaservers. So far I have from gold boxes only (I'm not into doing more than enough to get tickets): mirth, noise maker and popper frags (not on every account - I honestly don't know what's where and I don't really care - I got all the sow frags last year, and they're just sitting there because the only use for pigs is ham and bacon....) This event is simply for a couple of regalia parts if I don't get them, and having 12 tickets at the end. I'm done killing myself on stuff like this.

In fact, I'm not even going to do writs in Jubilee on more than 2 characters per account per server. I have - limited tolerance for grinds any more.

Drop rate on style pages has been fine. Drop rate on any of the collectible items has been nonexistent so far.

Utterly consistent with past Jester Festivals. Challenge yourself by seeing if you can make it to 1K Jester banners. It's a more achievable goal.

I have a 100 slot house that I have filled the entire thing with Jester's Banners all from the very first Jester's Festival.
I destroy every single one I get now.

I now have 56 Jester's Banners. That's approximately 1 for each Void-Crystal Anomaly.

I'm thinking of buying the Surreal Estate house and setting up some kind of slalom course.

The banners might drop a lot, but at least they don't drop quite as much as the first year. I think I still have about 100 from then floating around several houses 😄

I have had Mirth Shards in purple boxes. I have not had Popper Parts or Sovereign Sow parts at all, and only one Festive Noise Maker Part, which was from a gold box.

edit: and across 11 purple boxes on four characters: 1x purple recipe, 2x mirth shard, no banners.

But yeah, haven't seen any other kinds of parts (popper, sow, noise maker)

To be honest, I only do the first quest to get the stupendous box and the tickets and I move on to do something else. The quests for this event are, by far, my least favorite. They take far too long and the reward is pretty meh. If it dropped better loot, but all it does is drop useless stuff. I guess that the festival itself is supposed to be a joke, but the game itself is not, so unless to give me a reason to invest myself in it, I'll pass and do something far more rewarding.

My personal experience over the past 3 days.

3 Gold Boxes. 2 Regaliapages. 3.. 3 Cherry Blossom Runeboxes - I have had this for years.

80 or so Purple boxes - 7 Mirth Fragments, Multiple Jester Standards, enough princess recipes to choke a princess pig, couple other recipes.

Not a single pig part. Not a single popper part. Not a single noise maker part.

Pig parts you have to use the mirth frags to get em,or buy em in impressario.I got a few popper and noise maker pieces,one or 2 of each recipe,coffers,mirth frags,a scintilator runebox,and most of the regalia pieces.I haven't gotten Caldwell pieces,but I own em all aready,so no biggie.
