The Harrowstorm grind

So...don't ride to HS in progress/about to be done? A HS that's had all of its spikes taken down doesn't have a red laser thing going from it to the sky. Only one HS can be up at a time (I do think Blackreach counts as a separate zone so it's one HS in Greymoor, 1 in Greymoor Blackreach, 1 in Reach, 1 in Reach Blackreach) so you can just keep hopping wayshrines til you see one go up and then ride there. If after that you still don't make it there before it's done, well, time to train your horse's speed and unlock Continuous Attack on it. Also, I really don't think that Harrowstorms are the best source of experience for champion points.

Also, playing at non-prime time tends to solve all of the 'too many players' issues and then starts people complaining about 'not enough people at Harrowstorms, too hard for solo players, make the bosses have less HP and hit less please'

Of course, those patch notes might have considered storms to be world bosses (for some reason), or just have been negligent in their wording.

So you have a group believing that the Harrowstorm dailies drop furnishing plans. I can confirm this isn’t true, just the delve and world boss dailies.

Then you have a group that thinks this is a repeat of the Greymoor motif and that the Nighthollow motif will somehow drop from the storms. Can’t dissuade them at all it seems but they definitely aren’t dropping and the Greymoor was a glitch.

Then there are those farming for Witch Knight for PVP. Some for purple jewelry and some who mistakenly think that weapons and armor drop there.

And lastly those leveling and knowing there are good rewards like jewelry to decon, vampire furnishings, and leads.

I can add that the only thing that ever drops from the HS Markarth Reward Coffers is blue gear items. Blue weapon, blue armor, blue jewelry, never anything else. And, it's almost always only 1 item. I'm fairly sure I've seen it give 2 but it's rare.

Wish I knew the addon name I have installed that allowed me to determine that. It's been pretty useful whatever it is lol
