Cannot Change Security Question

I set up my account 5 years ago when I played on the xbox and set a security question then. When I try to use my answer, it is not working. It is entirely possible that I had it formatted a certain way, however, when I try to change and update my security question, I cannot do so without the answer to the first. How can I change and update it?
Also, when I looked this issue up on the support page and tried to place a ticket. It kept taking me to an article where you can update it in your account info and that wasn't helpful as I tried that and could not update it. There was no option to place a ticket.
