I've recently brought up a story about my step father, and how i'd always assist him with his projects in return for one day to inherit something worthwhile. Alas, my stepfather would always move onto the next project. leaving the old project, and w/e issues it has, behind. and in the end i inherited nothing.

This is a prime metaphor for how ZOS is treating ESO nowadays, especially over the last 2-3 years. every since their "yearly adventure" where content must be released in that year, by that year. and during that year is the soul focus.

Due to this LOTS of feedback is overlooked (the players opinion etc), and old issues from former content are never addressed.

much like an inheritance, ESO is made for us, the player, the community to essentially inherit with every update. This is ours. We funded, we helped, we gave feedback. we are by every right entitled to it and our opinions about it.

As of late the devs dont see that, and only care about their content, their direction. and how they feel about the game. and new content strongly overshadows core issues left behind that need addressed.

Can we trust the direction eso is going, and what will be left to inherit if the base foundation of former updates are "faulty"? will the game still hold up?

Aren't you the one who uninstalled the game and said goodbye?

ESO is a business, it is not yours or anyone else's here in the forum, you pay for entertainment.

You do not like? Are the developers' decisions "killing the game"?

Who stops you from going somewhere else?

It's amazing that there are people who take this too seriously, it's just a stupid video game.

    Step fathers, inheritances...

I really think the humane thing to do here is to stop torturing your metaphors and just put them out of their misery already.

"what is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?"

if it's a game, as stated. take your own advice and not comment about my comments taking the game seriously. defending is just as passionate as to attack. one would argue to defend to more passionate than to lash out. by criticizing me for giving criticism. this only proves you take the game just as serious.

Only offering to help a family member in return for money doesn't really apply here at all.

The PTS is only 6 weeks, and isn't meant for sweeping changes—that's what they have internal testers for, who give professional feedback in a productive atmosphere.

I like the new CP system, although it's inconvenient to have ~1,000 CP to grind to get the flexibility and passives that I would like to have.

I'm not sure if saying that releasing new content overshadows core issues left behind when they just gave us a content update WITH a huge rework with changes that people have been asking for for years.

I'm not worried about ESO's direction, but a LOT is going to change in Blackwood—they reworked the whole combat system without touching gear or skill lines much, so I expect a lot of little changes, and am just hoping for the best.

but yes, i do take my passions seriously. i have uninstalled, as you have stated. and i wish to start no debate over that. However, i can still give feedback. just as a civilian can give their opinion about a war they take no part in.

or how people who don't use guns, can dare even say they are "wrong". as another good example. jsut because i don;t activly participate i nthe subject matter does not mean i have no concept of "is this good or bad".
