Master Gatherer broken? (was: Lost master gatherer after CP 2.0)

Pink_Pixie✭✭✭Small run up of what I did today, I actually handed in around 80 master writs, it netted me close to 5 million experience which gave me a paltry 23 connect a dot 2.0 Grind points. I can't do that everyday, my resources can't handle it, and neither can my soul. Considering you'll need 3 times the connect a dot 2.0 CP required to unlock harvesting as it's split between three trees, it's going to take a long long time to get it.
That is simply mind blowing, the grind is real and slow. With no quests, broken PvP, repeatables, daily dungeons and battlegrounds, it'll take far to long to actually get back to any semblance of enjoyment. Perhaps this system wasn't actually well thought out after all! *Coughs*
