Top player on last place team in BGs should get the bonus XP/coffer

Title says it all pretty much.

The player who gets the top score on the last place team in a Battleground should also qualify to get the daily reward. This way a player who gets stuck on a bad team and/or "ZoS'd" and stuck on a team of only 2 when the others are full have a chance to get their daily coffer.

Nope, a defeat is a defeat. I've been in situations like the ones you described before but it would feel like a participation trophy, not something earned. They already give too much for the second place, when you can just half-a*se the match and prevent the losing team from outscoring you.

If you get top score but you still lose, you lost the moment you joined that BG group. You lost before you start playing. This change fixes that. I like it.

The top player of a losing team can still have done poorly. Not to mention a loss is a loss.

If you want better odds of winning, form a team.

Sometimes you get a bad team. Sometimes you get 2 or 3 players.

The queue isn't that long. Play another match.

we can tell at beginning if we are in team to lose or not by just seeing we are not full team or how other teams are starting along with our

for losing team we can at start just pass and wait till end by just waiting or giving free kills to enemy teams just to end it faster as it is very depressing currently when we are giving everything from us to try to win, ahveing 3k+ score while rest of the team have less than 1k if even 1k all together

in situations like this we could get this reward for still trying, for staying in game with hope we can get reward for our deeds knowing we are in lost team anyway instead just passing and not playing, waiting for end of this misery with team of 2 or 3 against full teams or team of not exp players against WWs horders and unkillable proc tanks

I don't think the top player in the last placed team *normally* deserves anything.

BUT - if they're one of the top scoring players OVERALL - they should get something individually even if their team came third.

If, say, a single player in a terrible(or undermanned) team manages to get into the top three high scoring players, for instance (out of 12), they deserve the reward. But if they're merely the top player in a bad team, but (say) only 6th or 7th overall, they don't deserve it.

Just because you're the top in kills, damage, assists etc doesn't mean you're the best player. Maybe your team lost because instead of working with teammates to achieve the actual objectives you just farmed players in the middle of the map ignoring everything else. Great you did most damage and killed the most players but while you were fannying around the other teams were actually scoring points, holding flags etc which led to them winning the battleground. You don't deserve a prize for that.

The only place there might be a case for it is in Deathmatch. And even then if you could have killed more enemy players by working with your teammates do you still deserve a prize for deciding to ignore them and just do what you want resulting in an overall loss for the team?

No, the top player on the losing team should not get the daily bonus and reward. As this would be highly abused by some players, like they already do with fake tanking / speedrunning / forcing FG1 / etc.
All that player would have to do to abuse this, is group up with 3 dummy players(multiboxing or friends) and simply get points once to gain the daily bonusses. Another cheat would be born.

A couple of amendments.

1. Only for the solo queue (to avoid grouping issues)
2. Would be okay with the change where you had to be the top player on the losing team AND in the top 5 of total points scored.

For most game modes the "score" is based on doing what the type of BG you're in for. If you're playing Deathmatch on a Capture the Relic mode, you're not scoring a lot of points. So I think the points scored is adequate for that.

I'm talking about a player who, in most cases, has clearly come into the BG, is playing the objective, and playing well.

Too many times, especially with the new queue system for solo matches, you get a team filled with people who just want to play deathmatch, and the person who's there to play the game, if it's not deathmatch, is put into a situation where it's virtually impossible for them to win.

But, to each their own. I can see how you can think it's a handout... I see it as rewarding people for actually playing the game mode.
